Brosnan is my second favorite Bond, with Connery of course, being my most favorite. I always hated Daniel Craig in the role, and I think it's a marvelous idea, to bring back Brosnan! Even in his 70s, he would still be a badass!
the man is over 70 years old. let him rest. He is easily my favorite bond, but he already has three fantastic and one ok bond movies under his belt, thats about as good as you can really ask for. Whoever the next bond is definitely needs to be more suave than craig though. I think Casino Royale is in the top 10 bond films, but I never thought he quite had the looks for the part. I know they were going for someone more rough and tumble but I really think bond needs to be somewhat debonair, even if his character is essentially a cold blooded killer. I just hope they get a really good director and an interesting script for the next one. Im kind of sick of seeing bonds character being overly deconstructed and analyzed, I just want a compelling spy thriller with memorable villains and fun action set pieces, thats what made movies like gold finger and goldeneye so great
Do you think Brosnan would say yes if approached? TND and TWINE are very underrated. I love Craig and most of his movies but I agree, the deconstruction was a nice experiment but it's time to get back to a more suave and classic interpretation.
Old Man Bond. Retired Commander is being hunted by a former foe. Keep it on a low budget but super gritty and extremely violent. He uses old gadgets that sometimes fail.
Before he retired from the role Pierce Brosnan said that he never wanted to go beyond the age of 60 years old so I think it is most unlikely that we shall see him return except in the old movies DVD's
Brosnan and Martin Campbell are still close friends. Bring Campbell back for this. Purvis, Wade and Haggis on the screenplay. It's funny, in my own dream scenario I also had Bond becoming the new M at the end of this 5th movie. I would still tie in Die Another Day. Bond's injuries from the torture he went through in North Korea never fully healed. Bond has been retired as 007 for years now. He lives in Hong Kong, a hard gambling and drinking information broker in his 70s. He keeps his eyes on the CCP and NK and sometimes feeds info to 00's. MI6 retired the 007 number and nobody has held it since, so its waiting for him when he briefly returns to service in the second act. Bring things full circle back to Goldeneye when Bond meets his temporary partner 006. He ends up showing the young 00 the old tricks and gadgets and together they save the the day. Bond struggles with the old physicality but in so many ways hes still got it. Maybe even bring back Michelle Yeoh's Wai Lin as one of the Bond girls. Hell, give Denise Richards a shot at redemption and bring her back too. Take a walk through memory lane for Brosnan's Bond. When Bond becomes M, he gives 007 to 006 and we bring the beginning or Brosnan's Bond full circle. He can put to bed the ghosts of the past.
Great ideas! This would be the way to do it for sure! 100% bring back Campbell, Purvis, Wade and Haggis! I love the idea of Bond being an exterior ally to MI6 and bringing back some of his Bond girls.
Brosnan's done as Bond. We should stop looking backward and have a fresh new Bond with a brand new interpretation. And stop bringing the DB5 and the PPK back. I associate those with the Connery era.
Not Bond, but it would be cool if he came back as M or Q, having him lead as a former Agent would be a cool idea
Hmmm interesting idea however it would give credence to the codename theory which I'm not a fan of hahahaha.

Hated? 😲 Casino Royale is a great film though. You're right though, would be cool to see Brosnan return.

You are right! Fun to discuss though.
no.. it was painful enough to see Moore looking like an OAP running around
@@user-yo8pw8wd3z Fair but in that case they didn't play to his age, my proposition is that they would for this hypothetical film.
Nope. Next question.
Haha should Aaron Taylor Johnson play Bond?
no t ever an elite Bond ... please no more ..................
😲😲 haha fair enough
