These are lovely, but I’m curious as to what do you do with them? Can they be used for collage in another encaustic piece? I have a Paula Roland hotbox and I never use it, simply because I don’t know what to do with the finished pieces.

Just dipping my toes into encaustic and pigment oil sticks. Loving your videos. Surprised you are using regular printer paper. Can these papers then be glued down into art journals?

I didn’t see the listing for the paper you were using? Is it just copy paper?

I'm so new to encaustic and excited! I have a Darice www.quill.com/darice-inc-craft-heat-tool-1199-10/cbs/55338494.html
The heat output is approximately 320 degrees Celsius/608 degrees Fahrenheit.
It air blowing out from it is quite strong and pushes the wax around.
I see Shari using a heat torch (butane and otherwise) in her videos.
My question is: does a heat torch blow air as forcefully as something like mine? I don't know if there is much difference. My Darice gets really hot so heat isn't the problem, it's the blowing air. Thank you so much!

A torch is going to be much more satisfying. I have the same problem with heat guns.

@@vestibulitis Thank you so much! There are so many, do you prefer plug in or butane?
