Thanks so much Marti ,I am so glad you enjoyed this one !
Phantastic work, thanks so much.
Wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing. I can finally put my Sennelier oil sticks to good use instead of sitting in the cupboard.
Thanks so much - very helpful!!
Always great stuff! Thank you.
I hope you have fun this Maria !
@@ShariReplogle I think I’m going to sign up for the class 😁
Beautiful! Thank you!
That’s so lovely Shari. I love the colour combinations.
I was watching a German video on a type of hardening wax that can be exposed to outdoor elements. Since the video was in a language I didn’t understand I couldn’t get the whole process. I was wondering if you know about this and maybe have a video on it?
Thank you so much Lynne! I am so sorry I can't be of help there I haven't heard of that at all.
I am German, can you put that link on here? Maybe I can help then.
Thank you for all your wonderful videos...I have yet to try encaustics; building up my nerve lol...I have watched other artist videos and I see them adding oil paint sticks to the hot wax...so I am a bit confused when you say you can add pigment to the cold wax...
Hi Shari. I've worked in encaustic for numerous years, and often been intrigued by cold wax. Does it have a scent (e.g., does working with it require good ventilation as with encaustic)? Thank you. Really enjoy your videos!
Hi ravenhairedyumyum, It has a bit of a scent but no vapors. In most cases it is made with orderless mineral spirits, beeswax, and a resin . Hope this helps and thank you !
Would you mix oil pastels with CWM?
What about powder pigments? Have you ever tried that?
What is your color palette in the oil sticks?
👌💕
Thanks Mary !
What substrate are you working with? I tried clicking on your link, but get a "404 Error code".
