Basically pushed forward the internet rap phase of the genre we’re still living through.

I showed this track to a friend of mine who's only into traditional gangsta rap and normally shuns everything I like. I could literally see his brain eating itself. He kept trying to stop himself from grooving w the track. He tried to say "this is terrible" twice, but his mouth kept freezing mid-sentence. He walked away and came back to watch like 8 times. He is different now.

I only got in to Lean and DG's music a couple of months ago, and I just had this otherworldly feeling that I've only had with a handful of other artists when I discovered them. I'm already feeling nostalgic in a way to these songs that shouldn't be possible after this short of a time. They might not be the most lyrical tracks out there but they just fill me with a feeling of bliss. Huge respect to these Euro boys making their whole ass own genre basically and showing everyone that you don't have to be American or from the UK to be a worldwide phenomenon.
update: just saw Lean live a couple of weeks ago in Ghent, very surreal experience. I've fallen even more in love with his music now. Truly happy to be a part of this community/family. Bless up and stay safe y'all.
