I’ve tried everything. Changed the speed sensor and the MCOR and this trick actually worked. Thanks for the help!!
Always learn something from your videos! Thanks
Just tried this today on a friend’s club car DS. Car just was really slow. Worked like a charm ! We were thinking new controller, new motor , instead fixed it with a piece of fuel line , Thanks !
It’s not stupid if it’s works !! Thanks for your video
Brilliant!
It's been a while but I worked as a tech at a cart place for a bit some years ago. Carts would come in all the time with this kind of problem. Look around in the menus of the scanner, some where in there in them is a section that let's you adjust throttle position and percentage. I wish I could elaborate, but like I said, it's been some years. I'm a curious person so I had to play with everything I could find in the magic box 😆
I agree! I think that programmer will do more than I am using it for 👍, thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe!
James - great hack! Thanks Just curious, what size tire were on it when you got 19 mph with speed code 4?
Hi James, great video. Where did you get the scan tool from?
Commenting to stay informed 🙃
What size tubing did you use
I used zip ties on mine to bridge the gap now she’s going 100 percent throttle I top out at 25mph with a speed magnet
I repair a fleet of carts. If it's slow like that, I shove a penny in the gap from above as a quick test, and if it fixes it, I use a metal bushing like your method.
Great tip !
@@Kartznfartz I was glad when I figured out this out. We have lots of carts with this issue.
No programmer for me. I have an AA 01 series motor DS. So I used a an ohm meter to measure the MCOR OHMs (Green & Yellow wire at the Controller) actual reading is 5.95K ohm at rest to 1.23 K ohm with floored Go peddle for maximum rpm. I'll try this trick to get to 0 ohm at floored Go peddle. At this point I am getting max 19 MPH with 20.5" tires. There is an aftermarket adjustable wire wound MCOR, that would probably tune the play in peddle shaft. How about a new shaft?
Absolutely that would work! This video is just in case you don’t have parts available at the moment. But thanks for that awesome info, I’m sure others will find it useful!
