Great stuff Nigel and good to see Pebbles again in a short walk on part.😀
definitely a video on focus/exposure stacking would be great.
Fabulous photos again Nigel .
One of your comments there rings true with me. Rushing. I often get to a location and immediately feel self-induced pressure to get the camera out and snap as many angles and positions as possible.
I need to plan trips better and when on location, plan the shots better. Yesterday after Storm Babet had left us here in Highland Scotland, I went out to capture some scenes and the light was epic but my planning was awful.
I had spotted the photo of Pebbles on you desk and thought, where is she . . .. we haven't seen her for awhile. And then she appeared! Hahahahha. Stunning experience to have been able to go to somewhere like Ireland with those massive cliffs and dramatic weather. And that light . . . .
Definitely not a clickbait title. The shots really are Epic!
I would also be very interested in seeing a video on exposure stacking and focus stacking.
Pebbles 😍 - loved the scenery you photographed! very inspiring.
What can I say Nigel, great video, great trip and of course Pebels the best protagonist, not forgetting that you learned to speak sheep! 😜 Thanks for sharing this amazing and fantastic video.
I do like the "photo on the left" because of the repeating rock pattern. I know about focus stacking, but not as much about exposure stacking.
Well worth watching, thanks Nigel. Love the headless chicken moments, I know it’s not just me that has them.
Stay safe 🇦🇺
Fantastic images, as always! So happy to see Pebbles in the end! Thanks for taking me along!
The quality of these videos always blow me away!
Another fantastic video! Thank you for taking us on another journey. Good luck with reaching 500K in the near future I hope!!
Both photos at the end were amazing. Please do a video on how you photo stack 👍
Certainly a great evening out, in my fantastic playground.. That light was special and you bagged some great shots too Pal
The video is terrific! If you would do a video (or two) on focus stacking and exposure bracketing, I’m sure many of us would appreciate it. You explain things so well! Thank you.
Would love to see a video on focus stacking.
Brilliant series, Nigel. Great advertisement for Ireland as a photography destination. ☘
Great video Nigel! You should definitely make a video explaining how to make both 2 stackings at the same time.
Hi Nigel, I have just taken delivery of a 75 by 25 cm metallic print from SAAL Digital of a slightly misty coniferous woodland scene. It looks spectacular. Wonderful series from Ireland, may there be many more. Thank you.
A video about combining exposure and focus bracketing would be very welcome!
3:26. Tossing that apple up in the air on the side of a hill...would have thought you learned that lesson by now. 🙂
Fantastic video Nigel I normally watch on my mobile or tablet but tonight put it through my Samsung TV and the quality is absolutely stunning.
Spectacular location. More sketchy vantage points. More Pebbles! 🐶 Carry on. 👍🥂
Loverly stuff - well done
11:51 - my most favorite composition. For some reason, it remind me strongly of "Shadow of the Colossus".
Thank you Nigel for the wonderful video! Yes, I would like to see future videos with information about exposure and focus bracketing. Thanks again for your terrific videos.
Excellent video and thanks for sharing. I bought the Z8 a month ago and just got the 24 - 200 today. As a 70 year old, oh how I wish that I could walk up those steep slopes and capture the amazing shots shown here. Glad that you had a good time snapping those incredible shots.
Loving the Ireland series from you and the other crew you were there with. Some great compositions made epic by the light.
Yes please.... It'd be great to have some information on exposure and focus bracketing and whether this can be done in Lightroom or you need to know your way around Photoshop
Winderful video! I'd like to see a video on exposure bracketing and focus stacking if you could!
The right image at 14:40 seems to have a bit more balance with a better distribution in visual weight between rocks in foreground, the brown patch in the midground and the green. The difference in the top half is negligible.
Great trip. Please do a video on focus stack and exposure bracketing.
I really enjoyed this Nigel. Great images, not only from the camera but on video too. Awesome.
Thks Nigel, loved you and other guys Ireland trip videos. Yes would love to see video on focus bracketing/stacking.
4:23 "OMG! He speaks my language!"
Great video, Yes please do a video on combined focus stacking and exposure stacking
Hi Nigel, I would love to see a more technical video about exposure and focus stacking in a panorama context. I'm sure I would learn a lot.
Id love to see a video on your editing process! :)
What a trip! The images are gorgeous! And so glad to see adorable Pebbles!
Very happy to see you got some photos you're happy with from this location! Beautiful stuff! Love the shot with Rick in the foreground! (Obviously 😅) 👊😁
I liked your pano. Lots of eye movement from sun to cliffs then an occasional stop at the sisters or the rocks in the middle and the dark cloud on top. Very dynamic visually. Nice!
Wow that light! Loved this series from Ireland. Well done
Would love to see your work flow for exposure bracketing and focus stacking combined. I can never get my head around it. The Ireland trip was amazing. Love it when you guys get together. 😊
Great Ireland series, would be good to see how you do your focus stack & bracket images. Also if you ever have any issues with focus breathing, when stacking?
Beautiful scenery and images! Yes please for a video on focus stacking and exposure blending.
Always amazed and always learning. Thanks for the willingness to create these videos. I feel you have often missed some stunning shots because you are also creating these videos for us. So thanks again and again, and give Pebbles a pat on the head for me.
I've been watching your channel now for about 8 months or so and each time I am just blown away with the images that you capture! You are truly inspiring and I can't thank you enough for the time and effort you not only put into these videos but also for sharing your wisdom and expertise to help me improve my own photography. Cheers Nigel!
Amazing stuff Nigel, Dingle and around is a great area of our country - well done.
Hi Nigel, another brilliant video which along with your companions UA-cam videos makes going to Ireland a must!. I would like to understand better how you combine focus and exposure stacking in post processing. Additionally it is great to see you are able to embark on these excursions without too much problems with your back!
Really enjoyed the video Nigel, pleased to see its not just me that puffs and pants going uphill
Great photos. Would like to see how you focus and exposure stack. Terrific series!
Yes, a video of focus stacking and exposure bracketing would be fantastic! I actually prefer your photo to Rick's, not so much for the composition but the beautiful clouds in yours. Always enjoyable--thanks!
Really enjoyed your Ireland set. Fantastic landscape, weather and of course your brilliant photos!
Lovely series, some great drone work in this one.
Inspiring Nigel. I will not forget your photos a couple of years ago from Ireland (Co Donegal) and stunning coastal images.
It looked a really excellent trip and glad you enjoyed it, The images are wonderful as usual. I would really appreciate a video on focus and exposure stacking please ! please !. Till next week take care.
Incredible images and drone footage…just amazing
Awesome video !
This reminds me of my time in Ireland last summer, roadtripping along the coastlines alone with my camera, best trip ever 🤩
Hi Nigel, I love the shot at 06:50. The rock on the right looks like a giant wave heading towards the cliffs whilst framing the scene beautifully. Thanks for another video.
Nice ones mate, that was epic Nige! Yes please could u make a video of focus stacking which would be great with your photos!
Focus and exposure stacking video would be amazing!
All-around great video - images and instruction. Yes, I would be very interested to learn more about your combination of focus stacking along with exposure bracketing. You are an excellent photographer as well as an excellent educator - not always an assured combination. Thanks for sharing what you know and love with the rest of us.
Fantastic video - have added Ireland to my own list. Would be very interested in more about focus stacking and exposure bracketing. I think I know how to do each individually but putting them together looks like a whole different level of complexity so please show us how its done (and when to use either / both). Many thanks.
Absolutely amazing
Ah yes the Nikon 24-200. I use this lens on my Z6 all the time great combo!A great reminder its all you really need for great photos
Awesome video! Love the amazing landscapes, scenes, video clips and photos. Keep up the fabulous work!😎
Beautiful shots and some great drone footage!
Stunning place! Great to travel with you! A video that covers focus stacking (*with management of focus breathing*) and HDR merge would be great.
Another great video Nigel, inspiring me to get out around my coast this evening. Even more so with the CanonPro1000 firmware allowing us proper panorama printing. Thanks Nigel
Excellent video. It would be great to have some information on exposure and focus bracketing
Fantastic, video and photos 🙂👍👌
I would like to hear how you focus and exposure stack please. Great video. Thank you.
The image at 13:32, I would argue that the sun is not too far from the remote stretch of land in the left side. When I print screen copy it, L/R swap does not make it better, but when I crop the foreground away then it becomes more tranquil and balanced and the question if the sun is too far away would not come up in my mind.
I have loved all the videos from Ireland. Fun to watch and very informative. I would love to see a video on focus and exposure stacking.
Stunning location, beautiful shots, one excited photographer! Loved it!
Great video Nigel, I spent many years in sw Ireland and it is truly wild at times. Yes another video on focus stacking and bracketing would be good for us newbies. Had a few workshops with Jack Lodge and yes he is very talented, he speaks highly of you also.
What a beautiful place to photograph! Amazing pic’s Nigel!! I would enjoy seeing a video on focus stacking and exposure bracketing. Many thanks for your weekly videos.
Great video, Ireland is on my bucket list. A video on exposure/focus stacking would be good
Great video. What an amazing location. Would love to learn more about how you focused stacked and exposure bracket
Awesome Nigel, loving the Ireland trip. Hoping to get there in 24.
Yes please re the focus and exposure stacking
Well Done Nigel, Kerry is a truly spectacular place for landscape and seascape photography, really enjoying this Irish series from you ,Mads , Michael and of course Darren!!
If your back anytime soon you should check out Donegal, the Copper Coast in Co.Waterford (little biased here as I'm 20 mins away from it)
Another great video! Thanks for taking the time to make these to such a high quality. Yes, I’d love to see more detail on your post processing of the images.
That was so beautiful, it’s moments like that that make photography worth the time and effort
Wow such a nice place and great conditions
I liked the left image because the rock was more prominent, but I like the right image because it visibly rises above the midground. In the left image, if not for the contrast of the light on the rock face, it would disappear into the midground. Ultimately, you have to determine how it's going to be viewed. If digitally, then it's probably okay. But if printed, then that contrast that makes it stand out may flatten a bit. That's just my preference, though. Either way, they're both great images that evoke that sense of being there in the moment.
Great video Nigel.
A tutorial would be great. Ive shot a scene this weekend in a National Trust area with 3 different focus point but such a high contrat range, all different exposure. Unsure how to blend it all. So a tutorial would be very welcome please.
Wonderful light and seascape, Nigel! And some epic photos 👏. I'm hoping to travel the Wild Atlantic Way next year and so looking forward to it! I'd be really interested in a video on focus stacking and exposure bracketing. The complexity of doing both is a little intimidating!
Fabulous video! I love all your captures there in Ireland.! Especially since you used the Nikon 24-200mm Z lens. I'm debating whether to get this lens, so I was pleased to see the quality of your photos! I would also love to see tutorials from you on focus stacking and exposure bracketing and how you'd use them together!!!
Music 👌🏼! Anybody knows the introductory song at the beginning of the video, also plays at 11:15? The music sets the perfect tone for the video & amazing images. Thanks Nigel for my 2024 calendar, absolutely love it
Fabulous photos, Nigel! I felt like I was watching a movie during the drone footage. So amazing!
as a nikon fan boy and a owner of the z7II and the same lens on this video , i cannot stress how good this lens is , you dont need the holy trinity of focal lengths anymore imo , and if its one lens you need in your landscape bag its this one , dont be off put by the comparison of the 24-120f4 S line as tbh unless your blowing up massive prints you wont notice any difference in quality and i think there is a comparison video out there and the 24200 is just as good on specs . and for the same price you get an extra 80mm focal length . good video btw
Спасибо 👍
Nigel, as usual, a teriffic video. But as a colonist and not a native Brit, I sometimes have some difficulty figuring out where exactly you are shooting. Is there any way you can drop a Lat/Lon in your remarks so we can set up a base of understanding where you are shooting?? Also, love to see a video on the focus stack and light stack (for example, is it any different from HDR??) Thanks. (A little more detective work using comments from your viewers, I'm guessing N52.1434, W010.4290?)
I really enjoyed this amazing video, as well as all of those you have produced! One question though. You carried a tripod yet many of your scenes were shot at a very high ISO, and at a relatively wide aperture. Why? Thx!
Very lovely! I am very interested in your process of bracketing and focus stacking to combine into one image.
You just like Henry turner now!
Always love your videos. Especially the ones with your 24-200 as that's what I own, although I shoot with the smaller & cheaper Z50 bc I like APSC :) Yes, you should do a video on focus and exposure stacking.
Yet another great video Nigel, great compositions and great company with the other togs. Your 24-120mm is an amazing lens, I'm contemplating trading my 24-70mm just to get that extra length.
this one was 24-200 not 24-120
@@Damon_Mah Thanks.....typo
