What is a statistical model?

In this video I jump into what a statistical model is. I explain how they all are about predictions. Some can be complex like predicting global warm, other can be as simple as a mean. Means predict the expected value of any future data. I touch on model complexity and how it decreases unexplained variation but at the cost of statistical power. I then introduce the confusing term of -Degrees of Freedom.
