Check you have not got the Eco mode on which turns off the heated bed, I dont think you will have as you are a pretty savvy guy but this is a relatively new printer to you
what material are you printing with this hotend ?? I changed my ender's hotend to an allmetal and I can't print PLA anymore, although hotter filaments print fine
@@andrewesquivel this is really nice to hear, my pieces are very similar to yours, the biggest difference is the heating block i use brass. so probably i have a slicing problem.
all metals tend to run a bit hotter than before. You can recalibrate or do a temp tower expecting everything to be 5 to 10 degrees hotter (so start 10 degrees lower) So if you print at 210 try 200.
My first object came loos as well. I cleaned the bed and all the prints are now going very well.

Why didn't you show how to get the plastic cover and height sensor apart ? Thats what I cant figure out .

It prints pla and abs without issues

It was custom assembled, but its just a Mk8 heatsink with a titanium heat break and copper heat block with an m2 hardneded steel nozzle
