Yep, Bryant had 3 sons, 2 died. JW had 2 sons and lost one. So God caught up with the Bryant's one or 2 years after Emmitt's death. While Mamie still mourning the death of Emmett.

They pulled all his teeth with a pliers. Evil bastards. Dug his eye out.. Brutally beat him. That woman carolyn who told that lie, is still alive.
What they did to Emmett Till was horrible. They tortured him, murdered him, and threw his body in the river.
In 2004 the justice department did an autopsy on Emmett Till to determine his cause of death. And definitely identify him with DNA. In that autopsy, all of his teeth were intact.

This video presented Emmett's story with dignity out of respect for the 14-year-old and also evokes sympathy for the plight of the unbearable conditions that existed back then for them.
I’ve watched a lot of videos on emmit in the last few days and wept through all of them .I’m a 65yr old white man and I can’t believe I’ve just heard this story this week.I can’t comprehend how anyone could possibly do this to this to this young man. I can’t understand how people can hate someone because of the color of thier skin.No one in my family is racist and we weren’t raised to hate anybody. Emmits tradgedy ripped my heart out , I can only imagine the terror he suffered at the hands of these devils.And his poor mom and family, such senseless tradgedy , Those 2 animals didn’t escape the wrath of God,and Emmit is in the kingdom of God and will never suffer again,RIP
I always cry watching any video on Emmit. My father told me of his story before I ever saw his videos and I thought how sad. My father says he was 8 during this time he always brought up Emmits name when discussing racism and now I see why...After seeing these videos I feel sad and so enraged and sorry that this child had to go through this!! He was a child martyr and icon bc he sparked the civil rights movement but I still weep and hate what these demon filled grown men done to this beautiful boy and his family. The fact that the whole town and South supported this evil is sick and exposed how racist, sick, demonic and degenerate those people of the deep South really was!!

This is in reference to the producer of this documentary please give complete information if you're going to do a documentary on Emmett Till he didn't get to know his father because he was also murdered while being in the service but they don't talk about it. Good morning. I can assure you, that is a photo of Emmett. That is actually a rare photo of one of his earlier visits to Mississippi. We did state that he didn’t know his father (1:48) and his mother was a single mother since Emmett’s father died. The facts are correct. I invite you to watch the documentary again for confirmation. Special K Emmetts father was executed for raping 2 women and murdering another while stationed in Italy. He also used to beat his wife. Emmet never knew his father as his mother left him when Emmett was little (1 or 2). Emmetts father had the choice of going to jail (because he kept bothering the mother) or enlisting in the Army.

The facts do not support your theory. Mamie till left Louis soon after the birth of Emmett in July 1941, because he had been unfaithful. (Emmett would have been an infant) Mamie got a restraining order against Louis because of his brutality.
Louis kept breaking the restraining order and abusing Mamie. Louis joined the service to avoid going to jail for continuing to abuse Mamie.
Louis died in Italy in 1945. Mamie had received Louis' effects, including the ring, after the war and gave Emmett the ring before he went to Mississippi

She was a grieving mother, yet a stalwart of the Civil Rights Movement. And I would never question her defense of the son she lost so tragically.
But Mamie Till was not at that store on August 24, 1956.

It wasn't Rosa parks that started the civil rights movement Emmett till did when he was killed.

Mississippi was one of the Democrat states that went to war against the United States trying to preserve slavery. Democrats founded the KKK when they lost that war. Mississippi Democrats elected nothing but Democrat governors from 1876 to 1992. The Mississippi state flag contained the Democrat's Confederate Battle flag from 1894 to 2020. And 12 Democrat jurors set free the two Democrats that savagely murdered 14 year old Emmett Till.

That young boy died was killed because he was black sad say same happens today. I love the way all these Emmett Till stories start off with the idea that they know so much about what really happened inside the Bryant's store, but then later, actually prove they know next to nothing of any of the actual relavant details. They put everything into the "All he did was whistle" trope, and a very willing and receptive audience sucks all that in like it was the Gospel truth, while completely dismissing everything Carolyn Bryant reported here as a lie. It all boils down to what you want to believe is truth. Then it becomes the truth for you. Even without the corroborating supporting evidence.

~Her own sister, who was there, in law said it was a lie.
~10 people, who were there that evening, said it was a lie.
~And she even admitted herself, at the trial, that it was a lie.

Those are the exact instructions Mamie Till gave to Emmett. Mamie Till did not send her son to Mississippi to correct the Jim Crow South. She sent him there to have fun and come back alive.
