    Hey, I appreciated you answering my question last time so hoping you can help out again lol. I'm having so much trouble getting the rear wheel sprocket (also with the disc brake) to align with the torque converter deathrow sprocket. It's to the right almost two inches. I shifted my engine as left as it would go on the mount, even drilling out the mounting holes as far as I could.
    They're 4in wheels, so I'm wondering if the issue is with the wheel hub or something. I noticed on the front of your mount, on the underside, you don't have that mount seat piece like you do on the back side of the mount. What's this about?

      anything over 50 mph on a hard tail bike and bicycle parts is pushing the limits of safety. Maybe a slow conversion to motorcycle or scooter parts may help. You did a nice job on getting that motor in that frame....but why? Just get a used 125cc motorcycle for safety and reliability, ride quality, and durability.

  • @ChristopherJones16
    @ChristopherJones16 3 роки тому +1

    Do these bikes with motors still need the pedals and their sprocket, chain, gears etc.. Or can we completely remove them. Theyre just unnecessary weight and get in the way a little it seems. Pedals should be removed and perhaps slide like a 2" pipe through the hole where they were at and weld in some foot rests or something.

    • @Canadian_Craftsman

      @@Canadian_Craftsman ok nice, but ur old 30 series torque converter is different. How did u put the gear sprocket on the torq converter behind its mounting plate which u then aligned with the chain to ur rear wheel sprocket 0:14 ? The modern 30 series torq convverter i see have the gear sprocket just beside the bore drive pulley and cant be put back behind the mounting plate. Thats all i need help with cause i need a torq converter that can be set up that way so i can align my chain from torq conv to rear wheel sprocket more easily without forcing the 4-stroke to sit further on one side of the bike just to align the chain. More easily because the chain is sitting closer to the frame of the bike than further near the drive pulley. idk how udid urs. Thanks brother

    • @Canadian_Craftsman
      @Canadian_Craftsman  4 роки тому +1

      Hey brotha so there's a shit ton of stuff but I'll try to tell you everything I remember!! 1# you need a cnc shorthead for the cylinder to fit.. 2# you need a short spark plug wire, why I went with MSD ignition plug!! 3# need a small shortened 1/4" npt fitting for the fuel line to fit.. 4# I used the cnc billet motor mount plate (BUT) I had to flip them over drill the holes wider almost 1/2" for the mounting plates and drill the holes on the bike frame wider so it fit together!! Be very careful man and take extra safety use lock-tite on EVERYTHING Goodluck!!(=

    What engine mount did you use? I have the same type frame I’m trying to install a 212 on. Do you have a link to where I can. Get the lower mount and the front top mount? Also are the cranks wide ? How wide of clearance will I need?

    • @Canadian_Craftsman
      @Canadian_Craftsman  3 роки тому +1

      Okay sooo I built the front motor mount out of CNC gas bike motor mount, and some angled steel.. the bottom is a billet cnc motor mount plate that i modified to fit the frame, and the wide pedal cranks i bought on Amazon for the 212cc also you need a bottom bracket conversion Euro to American.. these bike builds are basically a nightmare anything but easy be patient and it will pay off good luck!!(=

    • @Canadian_Craftsman
      @Canadian_Craftsman  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah that's especially a difficult part so I had to drill the frame mount holes wider.. then cut the cnc motor mount notches wider so that the two plates on the bottom fit. One regular ways and the second mounted upside down to fit the bike frame mount and also bolt to the cnc mount.. sounds crazy try and look closely in my videos otherwise ide have to show its hard 😕 lol sorry
