holy.. this is phenomenal lol. The Gman's voice sounded a little too uncomfortable to listen to (and not the eerie/good uncomfortable kind of way) imo, gman in HLA has a way more calming yet unnerving voice. But Russels voice is on point and the level design is so good

I actually think the eyes are more effective when used to accent certain things rather than being glowy all the time. If you look at the HL:Alyx Gman sections you'll see what I mean. Just a bit of constructive feedback. This looks incredible overall.
As much as I like this G-Man, I feel as though someone else like Gianni Matragrano could have done better. The rest of this looks EXTREMELY good, though!

I think more than anything it's the audio mixing for the trailer that makes it sound off. If you go back and watch the first teaser the VA sounds much better. Not like the typical G-man, but it's got it's own flare to it. I think it'll sound a lot better in game with the proper sound scape.
You have no idea how hard it is to do G Man's voice, it's extremely hard. It takes years of training every day just to achieve 1%,try it yourself. He's done a great job in my opinion.

It really is amazing just how much more physical the gameplay is in VR. Ducking under windows, sidestepping trains, moving your flashlight through the space. I wish I could afford a VR headset.

Valve missed big oportunity with Adrian Sheppard which they could have used for 7 hour war, with somesort of objective which would consequently fail. There could have been also another Barney Calhoun spin off as well... I really never liked the continuation of the series after the Black Mesa incident, by jumping so far ahead in time. They should have done it more gradually in my opinion.

It feels like it was made specifically to make a reference to half-life 1, when Gordon was not yet hired. It's just buggers me.

you guys should work more on interactive objects and small details, Boneworks was heavily praised for that and everybody talked about how that’s one massive edge boneworks had over half life alyx, the gameplay looks a lot more fast paced here almost half life 2 level, since half life alyx almost felt like a vr tech demo and hasn’t ramped anything up yet, this game will show fast paced VR combat seeing the previews
