I have a slightly different take. I think, and I mean this respectfully, is that the way women and men compete is different GENERALLY speaking. Women tend to use words . They use the mind games. Hence rumors and backstabbing and cattiness. This is across industries. So with that said it's not surprising women are competing in this way. It's egos and bags that are at stake.
