I’m working with a client who has a squarespace site and to be honest I am not enjoying it at all, I’m a Wordpress guy. The thing I am not liking mostly is the image focal point thing they have . This is causing problems when it comes to webcore vitals. Also there is just so much Java script loading at the outset and , well it just destroys load time .
Hi I would like to have on my product page an ad to cart and a check out option, usually if you ad to cart the button changes to checkout but squarespace does not do this. Currently on my site, if you ad a product to the cart you then have to exit the product find the shopping cart option then check out. This will definitely be turning off buyers and im seeing abandon carts. I do not do HTML do you have a video on this OR do you know someone who can put this feature on my site for me. This is a really simple feature that EVERY site usually has so im baffled as to why squarespace neglected such an important feature.

I would recommend copying this exact question and asking in this Facebook group facebook.com/groups/1841908079397590 as I've seen it asked there before. Theres a ton of knowledgeable people in that group that create custom code / plugins that might have an answer for you. Good luck!
But seo is far more that just text. JavaScript bloat , css bloat and so much more that you can not refer because squarespace do not just access to that , this is why squarespace is bad for seo.
