Chase, you speak so fast yet so eloquently that i found it easy to follow even though majority of phrases are completely new to me. Developing our family business locally and trying to learn SEO. You helped me a lot and i felt happy leaving a "donation" to your FREE template i downloaded. I totally understand we have to charge for our skills but i also salute you for sharing your knowledge as it takes effort and commitment to put it in use. All the best for future and PLEASE do not spend to much time in front of the SCREEN :P
Just a suggestion: if the picture-in-picture is a must, maybe next time you could flip it horizontally, so that when you are looking at the left of your screen, you will be seen as actually looking to the left of our screen, and that will help the audience better to draw their eyes towards the side that you want them to pay attention to. While I think that showing your face is, in fact, better than videos that don't show the speaker's face-it's just more personal and I'd say, natural, to see the speaker's face-it can be distracting as it was in this. I don't know if it was just me, but most of the time I found myself distracted between the action area of the screen and the opposite way, as your eyes would be looking the other way.
good content,,,squarespace seo is very important in present ,,because squarespace popularity increase day by day ,,,so everybody should know it,,thanks for this video.
Great tutorial on exactly what I needed. Lots to digest, watched 3 times now lol. Moving to Fort Collins for a bit when the border opens, might have to talk when I get there. Keep up the great work
Hi Chase, great video again. May I ask you, in your SEO audit you have got a section for "indexation". You have all the pages with marked with "No Indexed/No Follow" Do you recommend product pages with thin content (just product description) to do "No Indexed/No Follow"? Is it possible in Squarespace? I still want to rank my collection page, so I can't just hide it to make my products go "No Indexed/No Follow". What is your opinion on it? Thank you.
Apparently, my Squarespace set up is a bit different than yours. I get into Marketing, SEO, SEO Format, change it to p however I don't have the part below where you hit setting or the part on top where you hit setting. In fact on top of the page in the corner it says edit. I hit that and still can't find where it says setting. I'm thinking mine is different than yours. Some things are the same but not all.
Okay I did each of these steps.... the business is getting verified now with Google, but my website is still not showing up when I search google. What am I doing wrong?

WordPress is messy. 99% of the websites I made when I worked in an agency was SquareSpace. Because SquareSpace cover almost all needs for local and small businesses website. A big plus is that their much faster to set up. Much easier to maintain. And that's make them cheaper too. Yes - you can make a super cheap WordPress site, but then you have to spend a lot of time on design and implementation of plug-ins and other stuff. If you ad up the cost of a normal website because you have to buy plug-ins, themes and fast hosting WordPress isn't cheap anymore. One reason many agencies sell WordPress is because that's what they know. A secret reason agencies sell WordPress is that WP pages break a lot - meaning more business for the agency! (true fact I worked for an agency that switched from Joomla to WP for this reason!).

Great content! Having the screen view where you show exactly how to navigate the pages is a plus! Thank you.

Hi, Chase. Do you have a business email where you can be reached at?
hosting and domain both matters in seo ? if your answer is "Yes" then how we check that this hosting and domain is not good for seo ?
How would you optimize a site like this for a local business with multiple locations? Specifically the business info.

Chase I believe in your old videos you would always say at least 1000 words on the home page, does that not still apply?
How ironic, I’m in Colorado Springs as well trying to rank my auto detailing website
I'm working on a detailing business too
No Google Map on the Contact page, just showing a service area? I am assuming this is a Rank and Rent site.
When I put my info into the website for the SEO checklist nothing happens.
Where are the free checklist and template?
1:39 pull it up? I don't understand this part...
So I guess if your photography website doesn't have a blog. Just mostly images- then your SEO is pretty doomed
Yes
whole video u listing paid websites to use... how can i do all of this organic?
Make great content and wait for users to discover it.
You lost me at title tag...
Seems like good stuff, but the speaking speed was too fast.
Tip #1 Migrate to Wordpress.. or any other platform..
I have a ton of Squarespace sites ranking.
Why move to WordPress if the sites are ranking really well?

I’ll never not trust a computer guy with on ear headphones around their neck
Your loss !
This is a squarespace tutorial, not an SEO tutorial.
