So many people domestic are trying to sell these same stones "wholesale" for 50 to 100usd. From china the same stones are 5-8$ each when you buy 1000 stones. But in my estimates guy is paying around 300-380 for the chain and selling it at 600$ which is a good amount of profit. Its still worth the it since I highly doubt most people would think its fake. They shine better then regular diamonds to.

Definitely a difference. More purple pop out the moissanite then the diamond because moissanite has more fire which causes a rainbow effect and a lot less white which diamond has. The bigger the pointer the more fire you see which is a dead give away. I’m not saying not to buy moissanite because it’s a good alternate but if you can afford real diamonds buy that or a lab diamond.

moissanite is actually a natural stone found on meteorites, and yes it can be grown in a lab, they look diamond, so for security there is a round circle placed on the stone by the stone cutter so as not to ever be for mistaken for a diamond!!!

I honestly don’t care but any normal person wearing a chain with that big of stones we know it’s not real diamonds because it would cost more than most people’s house. But that said I have some moissanite that I wear because I think buying diamonds is dumb, but I do like gold because it doesn’t tarnish as fast as silver and will always be worth something. That said i would like a gold tennis necklace with moissanite stones but just not as big as that one and I wouldn’t lie if people asked.

Jeweler here. I have nothing against Moissanite. It's pretty good stuff. If you’re not in the industry, you may not know what an exceptional diamond looks like. While Moissanite does have larger flashes of colored light, well-cut diamonds can have more-intense flashes of white light. Also, if you look closely at the physical stones, diamonds just have a better luster. It is incredibly difficult to scratch a diamond, but Moissanite does scratch.
I’m saying this just to point out that diamonds CAN be more appealing than Moissanite, but there are some things to consider. Diamonds need to be polished well or they’re going to look like cheap stones. Good polishing gives them that “wet” look, which is what you want. More importantly, if the diamonds facets are not positioned correctly in relation to the other facts, the diamonds will not sparkle correctly. The Carat, Color, and Clarity don't mean shit if the Cut isn't good.
That said, it looks like what TraxNYC has here is just a bunch of shit-cut diamonds that he’s trying to pass off as good ice. I wouldn’t buy that piece for any price.
