She never was a passenger liner sadly, she was converted to a Hospital Ship before she could ever become a passenger liner. The HG team created the interiors based off of blueprints and document. So in reality, nobody ever saw her as a passenger vessel.
The reason why she went down faster is because of how all the portholes were open at the time and on titanic, since it was cold, most of the portholes were closed which slowed down the sinking
The force of the explotion damaged watertight bulkheads between No.1 and the forepeak which meant 4 watertight compartments were flooding also the firemen's tunnel connecting to the firemen's quarters was damaged which was letting water into other compartments the bulkhead door between boiler room 6 and 5 failed to close then the portholes on E Deck was letting in around 24,000 tones of water in just 20 minutes so 40,000 tones of water is enough to pull the Ship down this would have occurred around 9am Britannic did not stand a chance of staying afloat so Britannic had a massive hole in her

So when the Titanic sank, and these new regulations went out, White Star Line had to edit the Britannic's original design to have enough lifeboats, and those large davits are part of it. Those davits allowed for multiple uses, meaning after one lifeboat was launched, the davits could swing back and pick up the one that was underneath and repeat. Not to mention that they can still launch lifeboats on both sides because of their length, even if the ship takes on a list, a solution to the problem a previous quadruple-stacked ocean liner, the Lusitania, had encountered. Britannic sank in less than an hour, but there were more problems that made it flood faster. 1. The portholes were open, 2. Watertight doors were jammed when the mine hit And 3. It had a bigger hole in the hull which it flooded fast. Compared to Titanic, 1. Portholes were closed because of the cold weather 2. Watertight doors weren’t jammed which made it flood slower 3. The iceberg scraped the sides so it didn’t flood much
Camodo here's a fun fact about the Britannic. When the ship was sinking, the ship was long enough that the bow hit the ocean floor while the stern was still above water.
Although damage was extensive, only six of the watertight compartments flooded, and the ship remained afloat. As the ship listed, water began to enter open portholes on the starboard side. In an attempt to beach the ship off Kéa, Capt. Charles Bartlett ordered full speed. The movement, however, caused more water to enter the ship, and Bartlett quickly ordered the engines stopped.
Actually the Britannic never had a chance to become an ocean liner and during world war one with the Britannic was being built it’s furnishings were replaced by various hospital equipment
After the Titanic sank the Olympic and Britannic were fitted with the correct amount of lifeboats after the Titanic didn't. The watertight compartments were also built to the correct height on the two sister ships, but they didn't work in the Britannic's case. Fun Fact: One woman was on the Titanic, she was on the Olympic when it sucked the HMS Hawke into it's hull and she was a nurse on the Britannic when it struck the mine. She was on all three Olympic class liners and survived all the disasters. She was Violet Jessop and was dubbed 'Miss Unsinkable'.

Pretty sure they kept the ship moving until the bow began to become submerged. Quite possibly, they sped up the sinking by moving the ship pushing more water in.
I like how camodo was walking on water and so did Jesus and this boat sank on the meddeterainean sea, and Jesus walked on on the Sea of Galilee, and there pretty close to each other.
There were two types of davits on the ship. The standard Welin Davits (similar to the ones on Titanic) and the industrial looking Gantry Davits which were automated and could lower boats in quick succession. There were four sets of the Gantry Davits amidst ship (one suffered mechanical problems as it was swung inward to attach another boat. That davit remains in this position today on the wreck.
When the Britannic sank it hit the bottom of the Mediterranean when the back was still out of the water and that’s why pictures of the wreck show the front bent up.
That means instead of the forward well deck, the mine hit near the bridge deck where Camodo had stood moments before the ship died. Hey, can you play this simulation on the Wilhelm Gustloff of 1945?

So excellent update of another game like Honor and Glory, only this patroness in both RMS and Red Cross colors.
6:31, 8:31, the Captain, C.A. Bartlett, was blowing Britannic’s whistle four short times as a signal to get all the crew up from their quarters to the boat deck and get on the lifeboats. In other words, a emergency quarters alarm.
HMHS Britannic was the third and final vessel of the White Star Line's Olympic class of steamships and the second White Star ship to bear the name Britannic. She was the youngest sister of the RMS Olympic and the RMS Titanic and was intended to enter service as a transatlantic passenger liner. She was operated as a hospital ship from 1915 until her sinking near the Greek island of Kea, in the Aegean Sea, in 1916. At the time she was the largest hospital ship in the world. Britannic was launched just before the start of the First World War. She was designed to be the safest of the three ships with design changes made during construction due to lessons learned from the sinking of the Titanic. She was laid up at her builders, Harland and Wolff, in Belfast for many months before being requisitioned as a hospital ship. In 1915 and 1916 she served between the United Kingdom and the Dardanelles. On the morning of 21 November 1916 she was shaken by an explosion caused by a naval mine of the Imperial German Navy near the Greek island of Kea and sank 55 minutes later, killing 30 people. There were 1,066 people on board; the 1,036 survivors were rescued from the water and lifeboats. Britannic was the largest ship lost in the First World War.[3] After the First World War the White Star Line was compensated for the loss of Britannic by the award of SS Bismarck as part of postwar reparations; she entered service as RMS Majestic. The wreck was located and explored by Jacques-Yves Cousteau in 1975. The vessel is the largest intact passenger ship on the seabed.[4] for people who dont know about the britannic
The explosion from the naval mine would be so strong that it slightly warped her frame so her front compartment doors are jammed in full opened position and it created a bubble and a shockwave. the H.M.H.S Britannic then rocked violently and the telegraph wire collapsed due to explosion
14:45 that boom was it hitting that is why when you look at pictures of it at the bottom of the ocean you see the bow is bent and also you can dive to it that is how deep it is.

About the propeller
@@Zelurpiotrue but they weren't filled fully
Britannic sank in less than an hour, but there were more problems that made it flood faster.
1. The portholes were open,
2. Watertight doors were jammed when the mine hit
And 3. It had a bigger hole in the hull which it flooded fast.
Compared to Titanic,
1. Portholes were closed because of the cold weather
2. Watertight doors weren’t jammed which made it flood slower
3. The iceberg scraped the sides so it didn’t flood much
Camodo here's a fun fact about the Britannic. When the ship was sinking, the ship was long enough that the bow hit the ocean floor while the stern was still above water.
True the Britannic was Off the coast of Naples the boat was longer than the floor and the boat cracked near the area where the mine hit
Did you know that all the 30 people died because they were on a lifeboat but all got killed because of the prpeler
It’s propeller 😂😂
True the propeller got some issues
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yea I watched the movie 😂
Not funny they died@@nishantnarula1883
The beds were actually not anchored. The noise at 12:12 is them sliding
How would they make that sound bruh
@@EnderEnergy it’s metal rubbing against each other. Of course it would make a sound like that! Plus it’s just a game so it’s not impossible that the real life sound was slightly different
Hey camodo I was just thinking there's this really fun game called moving out that's and online multiplayer game and I was wondering if you ob and other people would want to play. You are a mover but you can smash furniture and smash the house. Edit I actually realized you can't play online but it's still a great game 😀
why cant he play online?
the point of the game ISNT to smash furniture and the house
@@huntersole68 its made for local multilayer badically split screen
Camodo Gaming, you are correct, the Britannic was the sister of the Titanic and Olympic.
Ah, a little bit of history with our video today.
got this on my wishlist...i loved the older titanic mystery style game n really just wanna see the ship w/modern graphics
Pretty sure they kept the ship moving until the bow began to become submerged. Quite possibly, they sped up the sinking by moving the ship pushing more water in.
The ship's engine stopped when the engine room was fully flooded. Or also known as 21 minutes after the torpedo hit.
I like how camodo was walking on water and so did Jesus and this boat sank on the meddeterainean sea, and Jesus walked on on the Sea of Galilee, and there pretty close to each other.
Hey Camodo, have you ever heard of the game Fall Of The Titanic on Steam?
Also the big davits are called Gantry Davits
20-30 mins in the sinking survivors reported hearing metal groaning beneath the deck bc its restraining by the water and it's very heavy
That davit remains in this position today on the wreck.
the gantry dabits were white on .r.m.s. britannic
When the Britannic sank it hit the bottom of the Mediterranean when the back was still out of the water and that’s why pictures of the wreck show the front bent up.
Nice
Congrats your first
the ship was awesome and fantastic
Camodo can you do the sinking of the titanic in tiny town vr
what
Camodo, did you know that Britannic never had a chance to sail with passengers, it was converted to HMHS right after it was built
That means instead of the forward well deck, the mine hit near the bridge deck where Camodo had stood moments before the ship died. Hey, can you play this simulation on the Wilhelm Gustloff of 1945?
I always cry when I see and remember the Titanic,Britanic and Olympic😥😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭😥😭❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I would do anything to bring the ships back I will even sacrifice my life to bring them back❤💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔❤❤💔❤💔❤💔💔❤💔❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You ok?
The fact that there was nobody on the entire ship than him made it even more scary like a nightmare
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

very butifull Titanic & Britanic.I love whathing you.😃
Titanic wasn’t in this vid.
The horn going off is basically a sign saying we are in distress. Abandon ship. I think also to get other ships they may be in the area attention.
i thought the intro was a clip of the film
the creaking actually gave me the chills
Britannic never was a completed ocean liner, the game shows how she would've been had she survived the war.

All those painful groans from the ship are terrifying to hear. You can literally hear her dying....
It never had been an ocean liner thats becouse you never seen photos Of The RMS version
But the game lets you show how it would have looked like.
It had been an ocean liner but when the world war 2 started, the U.S. navy converted the Brittanic into a hospital ship
IT...HAVE...A...GOOGLE...PICTURE!!!!!
@@blazinggunxx4557 WW1, that lasted between 1914 with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand and 1918 with Austria-Hungary and Germany singing the Versailles Treaty
Wow, the RMS design of this game is amazingly not too far off Titanic. What shame though the real Brittanic never got to sail in her RMS colors from Titanic's disaster, then the need for hospital ships in WW1.

The noise you heard was them trying to close the watertight doors
Depends on the noise you're talking about. The *big* noise he was talking about was the ship hitting the bottom.
Actually the doors were jammed and couldn’t close.
Britannic was the largest ship lost in the First World War.[3]
After the First World War the White Star Line was compensated for the loss of Britannic by the award of SS Bismarck as part of postwar reparations; she entered service as RMS Majestic.
The wreck was located and explored by Jacques-Yves Cousteau in 1975. The vessel is the largest intact passenger ship on the seabed.[4] for people who dont know about the britannic
4 blows on the whistle was the signal to Abandon Ship
around 14:50 ish you heard a big bang. it was because the bow hit the sea bed and the bow cracked.
I was literally just watching you on a bout
Wat
boat
i know
Boat
Britannic:hi kea! Kea:STOP HARRASING ME! Naval mine:don’t worry kea I got this
The explosion from the naval mine would be so strong that it slightly warped her frame so her front compartment doors are jammed in full opened position and it created a bubble and a shockwave. the H.M.H.S Britannic then rocked violently and the telegraph wire collapsed due to explosion
14:45 that boom was it hitting that is why when you look at pictures of it at the bottom of the ocean you see the bow is bent and also you can dive to it that is how deep it is.
Me: HOLY COW COMODO PLAYS THIS
Hehe
@@caydenmckinley7393 somebody come get her
Great
The noise in 12:12 and the beginning was cool
At 6:30, the ship sounded its horns to warn that whatever hit them, that the ship was a hospital ship, and sinking a hospital ship is considered a war crime.
Exactly. Torpedoing a hospital ship is a war crime
The devs of this game are actually working on a game where you can experience the titanics sinking with full interior...but it is still in a quite early stage where the alpha hasn't even been released yet
I found your channel today idk why i didn't see it earlier i think i subscribe 😊and the game is So So So realistic thats So cool and the physics omg😊 13:51 yeah😊 15:27 bye bye😊
13:00 beautiful view of the sinking.
Your videos are too good I might not have watch mabey 5 or 6 iii just can't say anything else I love you 😙😍😎😍
The Britannic is in about 300ft of water I think... and it hit the bottom before the dunk fully (that was probably the noise at around 14:50), but the bow is not in line with the ship and that is why.
400 feet, you ment.
that is an awesome ship
12:13, spund of boilers and main frame of the ship crushing its self and boilers exploding (also weakening the structure)
At 14:44 that loud sound you heard was from the bow hitting the sea floor since the ship was longer than the sea floor
I CANT STOP WATCHING SHIPS SINK!!!
5:17 COMMENCE THE SINK
Presses big red button
12:11 the bridge was going under at that time.
14:44 her bow settled on the sea floor.
When britanic sunk it hit the floor while sinking which caused the bow to break off the ship so the seabed was shallow enough that the bow broke while it listing/sinking
Realy happened
