I did a alternator and a starter change on my International truck,, I of course unhooked the batteries and my Apu is not starting it keeps throwing a bat or bad code I believe it's the Sensing wire but I do not know how it is hooked up Thank you for your help in this matter I really miss my Apu
Hi,been to a shop,they replaced the 65 amp alternator with a 120 amp alternator,said its going to be ok,and it was,no codes,nothing,in the winter time when i used the heater.Now its hot outside and i started to use the AC,and i noticed when the compressor engages the voltage falls to 12.2-12.6.When the compressor shuts off the voltage goes back to normal.What could be the issue with that?Is it the wrong alternator?Can i do something to fix the problem or i just need to buy a new 65 amp alternator? Thank you!
Originally the alternator was bad so I had that replaced. Now APU is giving off code 61 low battery voltage. I checked both fuses and they looked ok. I’m going to thermal king tomorrow to get some 3amp fuses it could be possible the fuses could just be old. If the fuses aren’t the problem what else could it be?
My truck has an APU but it has problem starting. It’s keep trying to star but after two or three tries it shows a red light in the Cab. (Engine Fault) any recommendations?? Thank you!!
I have a problem with my tripack. It was starting and working for 10 min and shutoff with red triangle and Alt sign but after i cleaned the terminal it wont even crank

Alarm code 61 is low or high battery voltage. There are 2 3amp fuses that sense the alternator voltage one at the battery and one at the APU and there are probably 2 MAX BUS fuses near the battery they are in a black plastic container check those too.
Hey I have issues with my apu. The engine cut off every 3min. And code AL3. I checked big fues i clean up all wires on alternator looks like alternator is working when starting engine voltage goes up no problem just keeping shutting off. What's can be? Please help.

I had two additional wires together in the middle and they were attached to the lug right above the harness that has a cap on it in this video. My new aftermarket alternator didn’t have that lug when I connected it somewhere Else the alternator went wild and started goin over 16 volts. Then I disconnected it and it operated fine. Any idea what those two are for. Two white wires together end in eyelet

Тот провод что ближе к заду. глушаку. на нём должно всегда быть 12в. Он обычно идёт с генератора или на новых траках с батареей. Если на нём есть 12В и генератор не работает и генератор не даёт зарядку значит скорее всего надо менять генератор.
Дима привет это Маршал у меня нет 12 вольт на том проводе что идёт на шоколадку но зарядка есть 14 вольт и работает минуту и глохнет.так я думаю может подкинуть ему 12 вольт от батареи

APU overheats, check the valves for the coolant or there is air in the coolant

The computer module on mine under the bunk doesn’t light up anymore looks like a computer motherboard with fuses

Да один провод нужен для того чтобы выключить АПУ а второй провод контролирует зарядку
