When adding fur like this, it's easier to make it into wefts ahead of time and then gluing those pieces on rather than loose strands. School glue and modpodge works really well because you can spread it into the fibers.

I grew up with a couple of Studio Ghibli's films myself but I haven't watched most of them. I've been thinking about watching Princess Mononoke soon.

A cool video idea you could do is taking two random parts of a lps from your two cups. Then you can customize a new character on that new random base.

I just love how your customs with the fur and the eyes ,i really like the eyes ,i hope to make my lps customs kinda like yours but in my own style
They look amazing! How do you always make eyes look so good!?! Also, something that might help make working with faux fur easier is making wefts. Basically, you take small clumps of it and glue the ends together, it makes dealing with it and gluing it down easier. There are some good in-depth tutorials on here if you're not to scarred from this to use phaux fur again lol
If you ever sold one of your homemade LPs dragons I would definitely buy them for a lot of money lol😅

Kid scissors are some of the sharpest sissors, you can't change my mind.
Wefts might be the way to go next time you deal with fur(or yarn). Alot of Doll Customs hair are done that way, I belive.

I saw these customs on your website but they sold out so fast!!! Also, this custom is so epic, definitely one of my favorites of the ones I’ve seen so far!The detail is jaw dropping!!! Gosh, They are so pretty I can’t even. 🤍🤍🤍🤍whoever bought this custom is so lucky to own such a masterpiece!!!
I personally love customs with great dane bodies with a different head, it both gives them height over other lps and customs and can trick me into thinking they're subtle fullbodies.
Edit: yes I know this one actually WAS a fullbody, but I'm still saying that I love great dane body swaps
Hey so i don't know if you already thought of this but you should try wearing a mask (like one people have used during covid) while cutting hair so you don't keep breathing it in. i heard hair actually pretty bad for your lungs and could do some damage! Great customs btw!! they look really cool and the mask is probably my favorite part :D you're really talented!
What clay do you use? It looks really nice how you use it. By the Way you are doing great on your customs! :)

I use cosclay in flesh color 😂!! Uhuhuh tips let’s see- bake the clay 175F for 5 minutes, i do a lot of sculpting passes and throw mine in the toaster oven every few minutes!! It’s super convenient I love not needing to wait for clay to dry!

Instead of sculpting the tail you could’ve gotten something cloth like ig then the fur goes on so then the tail can move
Faux fur is infuriating! I find that it's easier to leave some of the backing on instead of just the loose fibers, it glues easier and it's cleaner. The customs are beautiful though!
Would you happen to have any advice on baking customs using polymer clay? I have been customizing for a while, and have wanted to try it because there is essentially little to no drying time. I'm aware that you need to use a lower amount of heat. Is there anything else important to know before I try it?

How long do you bake your clay on your lps for? 😅 I’m scared I’ll leave it in to long or to high of a temp and melt my lps

I usually buy huge lots on eBay when I’m running short and I slot buy certain bases as I need them! I really recommend Mercari to buy lps, you can get some crazy deals on there!!

Hiii! I know I commented on this video earlier, I work with fur and lps all the time, I found that fur sticks better with hot glue. (I know it’s not the strongest) but after you hot glued super glue. ( I promise you this works I do it all the time! If you want, I can contact you one of my tutorials) anyways amazing customs! You’d Gould work with fur more it really brings out the customs (I promise)

Do you make (or watch UA-camrs who make) DnD or wargaming terrain? I watch many channels that do, and you use a lot of the same techniques. Specifically the black basecoat and lighter drybrushing. And, your fantasy set making tutorials seem very similar too!
I actually starting getting interested in DnD terrain making lately, do you have any channel recommendations? :]

The ones I like most are the ones that use accessible/recycled materials, like Bard’s Craft, “Dm Scotty” (can’t remember the channel name), Broken terrain, Franky D. Crafter, and The Dungeon Miser.
It’s also worth mentioning Black Magic Craft, one of the most popular,
Tabletop Time, Jazza’s terrain channel, and Studson Studio, who isn’t primarily a DnD channel, but he was my intro to it and he is quite funny!

Gorilla glue is super helpful. But you have to wait 1-2 hours for it to dry
