I was stopped in my tracks by this today. Such a beautiful song. The Weather Station does it again.
Heard on CBC Radio on the way to work one morning when I was feeling sad and didn't know why. Something about her voice told me it was okay to feel whatever I was feeling. Turned my day around, I'm grateful. I recommend this song all the time now.
Calming, soothing yet rocky, drivey.. awesome, touching lyrics.
They just took the phrase "jump in the lake" to another difficulty level.. jump in the lake wearing a mirror suit!

I am so happy that she is much more forward in the mix. She is a brilliant writer, lets hear those words! She and Basia are the comforting soundtrack to this damn pandemic.

I have deliberately stopped playing the album because I didn't want to tire of it. I want to return to it and savour it the way I left it two weeks ago and just savour it again...and so on. Some albums invite you in and envelope you and they're the ones that make a place in your soul. Kate Bush's hounds of love is one of those for me,amongst others. This is truly a great Album.
Such an eighties sound but current and timeless... lyrics are so unique too... musical genius here!
