It’s 1986 in California and a group of friends will live the summer of their lives after a mysterious discovery in woods outside their quiet town. By uncovering an artifact whose powers they don’t fully understand, these remarkable kids will defy the laws of Nature and somehow interact between two planes of reality: life and death. Their curiosity will trigger a series of unexpected events that will get them involved in a government conspiracy and a mysterious U.S. Army general with his own nefarious plans.

This trailer looks a lot different than the actual game. In fact it somehow looks better and more interesting than what we got in the final game. Especially the story seemed to be less dark in this version of the game, which I like.

Im disappointed how much they changed in the actual game from this trailer. I really enjoyed the game, and you can tell the first couple hours were strong and like the trailer...but then its changed and loses that feeling and becomes something else...and now I must wonder what could have been? So its a good game, worth at least one playthrough..but I feel it couldve been great had they stuck to the feeling of this original trailer.
I see things in this trailer that werent even in the final game unfortunately.
