I am really happy about the Revised box, it has revitalized such a terrific game. I am waiting on the Saga boxes to arrive to my house now, I am looking forward to going through the Saga series of the LCG and hopefully by the time I am through them they have released the Khazad-dum in the new style.
Ooh highly recommend doing the LotR Saga mode next! (After the Dark of Mirkwood)

I just got the game last week. So I'm just scratching the surface trying to get a handle on the rules. I love The Lord of the Rings books and the overall theme. I've dabbled in the deck building aspect of themed games like this. I've played Magic the Gathering so, I understand the concept behind it, I'm not very good with it but, I believe I'll get better at it the more I play. I have to admit though the rules appear to be very daunting but, watching the play through, the mechanics of the game see not that difficult. I can't wait to begin playing this game. Thanks for your review, I just subscribed to your channel, and I'm looking forward to seeing some more playthroughs.

No clue. I am not sure which cycles they plan to rerelease. I plan on moving onto the Saga boxes after the Revised Core Set in the mean time.
New to channel, enjoying so far. Seen a few vids now, and liking the content... that said I did find it a bit hard to watch after 9:13... Starts a question. Asks it over and over, pilling on, then asks in more detail, repeats it, then only gives 1 second to answer, then interrupts answer to repeat questions, a few times, then asks again, then does not allow whole question to be answered anyways. Can even see the frustration and deflatted reply. Would like to see an equal ammount of each others opinion. Still that said, was informative and enjoyed the views.
I got 2 original core sets, will it still be a good idea to buy the new one?

@@RobsGamingTable well, if I'm being honest, I probably hate it because it makes me feel stupid. I got the game when it first came out 10 years or so ago and I can remember reading everyone's comments and videos at the time on the internet saying how easy the first scenario was. we never got past the second scenario. I also don't like the design where you need resources from a particular sphere to pay the total cost of a card. I would certainly prefer it if it was more like Magic where some of the resources are specific and some are generic. additionally, I don't like the idea of building a new deck for every scenario. it's really hard for me to come to terms with my feelings about the game in total because I absolutely love Lord of the rings and I absolutely love card games. I also love deck building. I just don't want to do it in between every single scenario. I guess the TLDR would just be it's complicated and I can't figure it out myself! thanks for asking!

Recommendation: if you’re going to do tandem videos, let the other person speak. Plan out in advance who will talk about a specific section and empower the other person to own their section. This video was hard to watch because it felt so uncomfortable.
FFG and their living card games, giving less than the possible number of items that can be used within games is like a common issue.
