Great video. Just what I was looking for. I have the Motorhead and the rest of the M18 QUIK-LOK equipment - except for the Edger - and I wanted to see it in action. Thank you. -- Yeah, we usually use the 6 to 12 HIGH OUTPUT batteries, which last forever. Also got a Super Charger. They are very expensive, but I bought them over time and the extra equipment is totally worth it for us. I've bought them on EBAY, "New With Open Box" descriptions from 5-star sellers, and we haven't had any problems whatsoever. The outdoor equipment definitely eats the smaller batteries very quickly, so we learned our lesson too. Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate. I'm getting one.
I was doing a product review on the ryobi and it stopped on me to it has to do with the way they wiring it so that’s why I’m still gas powered because I just thing it gets the job done quicker
As you probably found out by now ALL Milwaukee tools work better with bigger batteries and saves the headache of constantly changing them while doing jobs such as this. Thanks for the video bud. 🤘🏾😊
I have the straight shaft Milwaukee with 3 different size batteries so far is the best but on my hand blower it keeps turning off for no reason I guess is the unit
So with what size batteries does this come with when you purchase it and which are the bigger batteries recommended? I’m contemplating on getting this- Ty
You buy the weed wacker kit with the high output 6.0 battery and thats the one u want this guy used the smallest battery they make thats why it didn't lsst long lol you dont want to do that you want at least a 5.0/6.0/8.0 if you want this thing to last long i would even stay away from the 5 if you have the choice... i own this unit i run 6.0 or 8.0 it lasts all day

Hey know this is an older video hope u see this grab the xc6 forged battery it's the 12 amp battery in a smaller size plus its charges quicker and has a longer life span from recharging it

I got this system with two HD batteries. It’s stopped twice on me due to overheating. Small yards, I’m leaning towards buying a gas edger.

Ima buy some big batteries and give it a try man I’m going to see how it does
I love that it's a straight shaft
Yeah bro. Bigger amp/hour means more run time. It looked like it works okay.
Ima get some soon
Thanks for the very honest review. I really appreciate it. Looking forward to the video with the bigger battery
Soon soon 🙏🏼
Yeah on the battery. It looks like it would be a good addition to my lawn equipment.
It’s good I use it often but you need to carry 3-4 batteries

Maybe bro the bigger batteries work better
My hand blower, small m18, cuts out on fast triggering with 9.0ah and 12.0ah.. Slow trigger press works just fine..
Battery powered equipment is the future bro! 💯✂️💯
I just got a bigger battery I’ve been using it all day man that thing puts out some power
how is it doing? compare to husqvarna one?
It’s good man I’ll rather use the battery husqvarna one instead more powerful IMO
The batteries get a little hot and that will shut it down. I took mine back and got a gas model. Can’t get work done with that
I needa do the same

@@addicted2tools ty very much, I’ve made up my mind on this tool so I’m going to have to get this toy
Again thanks-
Gotta run the High Output batteries in the Fuel tools. They run better in my opinion. Throw a 6amp hour high output battery on it and your good to go
I bought one and it’s great
Hey know this is an older video hope u see this grab the xc6 forged battery it's the 12 amp battery in a smaller size plus its charges quicker and has a longer life span from recharging it
I used a 12 ah and it just shoots through stuff. I keep a 8 ah on it.
Get a bigger battery and do another review I use ryobi and I like the light weight and power from 18 v set up
Yes sir I did it’s coming out next Sunday
Yeah bro 1.5ah won't do much. There's like a 3ah-12ah in Australia its all about the high output varieties 6ah and above
Absolutely drains battery in minutes
