Has anyone noticed that he was using the tool upside-down? The bar oil is gravity fed with a tube at the bottom of the tank. This is a good, quick small video. He could have mentioned that Milwaukee recommends for the very first use to do a 30 sec test run to make sure the chain is getting oil. I bought one and really like it's use. Not to mention a couple of other attachments that are very useful.
You put the strap and handle on upside down. The strap and handle go opposite the trigger. It will be much safer, you’ll be able to use the trigger and the handle at the same time!
2:33 battery, i now only use Milwaukee cordless tools the batteries last longer cold dosnt bother them , with that power head you can get the trimmer, edger, power broom it fits a lot of tools not just the saw, i bought just the saw so i didnt get the ext pole or sholder strap. Maybe one day ill buy the pole.
I really enjoy using this tool. But I believe you are using the saw in an upside down configuration. That hook is handy to pull stubborn branches down. A good way to remember. I'm not sure iof the oil actually comes out like that. I think it is gravity fed.
Man!! I bought the Black and Decker with non batteries capabilities. I have to carry the pole unit and drag an extension cord behind me!! Im taking it back and switching it for the Milwaukee!!!!
Hell ya it's awesome! I did so much the first day. Didn't even unpack the shoulder strap. You need PPE just like any chainsaw. Hardhat with mesh face guard and safety glasses. Sharp falling branches is still very dangerous. And it still easily cuts large branches big enough to break bones. I had a bar left on the battery still at the end of the day. Kick ass tool. I even fell a dead 9" diameter tree. Very pleased with it! The extension allows much height.
I DID ENJOY THE VIDEO, I WANTED TO FIND THE LENGTH OF THE EXTENSION , AND THE ENTIRE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE TOOL!!... I THINK YOU DONE A FANTASTIC JOB WITH THE VIDEO, !... STAY SAFE AND KEEP ON CUTIN'! MAY GOD BLESS!!
I love my Kobalt Pole Chainsaw - 80-volt - 5-AH battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Chainsaw. No electric cord. I've been using Oregon Bars and Chains. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees throughout the woods of our 18-acre farm. I carry it all over in our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front. I am also using (2) Kobalt 80-volt 18" Bar Chainsaws and using (2) 5 AH Batteries. Cuts huge logs great. The chainsaw first chainsaw wound up in a puddle and stopped working but after a couple of weeks and it had dried out, it started working again. For oil, I like to use Ryobi Bar and chain oil. We have cut 20"+_ logs and works like a charm. And NO more pulling and pulling to start a gas-powered chainsaw. My first 80-volt 18" Bar Chain saw with a 5-AH Battery and charger was $400 in Jul 2021
I've enjoyed having mine! I will admit that during assembly, it has been my experience that if everything isn't perfectly aligned, you will have to spend some time reassembling. For that reason, I keep the extension in place on my unit. I also try to keep a couple of spare chains on hand for it. Lol.
Hell yes it worth it. I cut down part of a tree i should have used my chainsaw on but the polesaw works so good why mess with mixing fule. Just pop in a battery slip the pole saw in the trimmer head and go. Job done. Ive used it so much the balde is dull im trying to find out what file to use to sharpen it. This thin buzzed through bushed small trees branches 1 larger tree i should have used my 20" chainsaw on. The weight with a 5amp hour battry makes it kinda heavy and i need to get an extension, some day. The saw is worth every penny you wont be sorry.
A pole saw has its uses, but the new telescoping pole PRUNER/LOPPER has some real advantages for limbs up to 1¾" diameter. It cuts through a branch in 2 seconds or less, has no vibration to tire your hands and arms, there's no sawdust to get in your eyes, and there is no risk of any dangerous kickback. All of this adds up to a tool that, on the smaller branches, can make about twice as many cuts per hour as a pole saw. I have seen the wisdom and profitability of owning both tools.
I guess he didn’t realize that he had installed the handle grip upside down. The eyehole piece used to hang the strap was, also, installed upside down. I kept watching and hoping that at some point corrections would be made. *All in all, video was a great help👍Thx🙃
He evidently has never done this much and didn’t do his homework before doing the video. Not only does he have the handle on upside down he’s using the saw upside down and cause problems getting oil to the chain. The chain would wear and dull quickly. He likes to hear himself talk.
There is a kit with the correct XC 8.0 battery and charger that is in many cases and times of the year cheaper than the kit that you bought. Your handle is on upside down 🙄
F CALIFORNIA "Starting in 2024, the sale of new gas-powered blowers, mowers, weed trimmers and chainsaws will be banned " So now I have to drop a couple grand for replacing all my yard tools. While they enjoy profits.

Thank you
Came to say the same thing 👍
Definitely upside down.
Yeah, kinda hard to take a guy's opinion on a tool when he can't even use it right side up.
yep he put the handle on upside down
Thanks for the informative video.
I have one and love it! I thought it would be a joke, but it's a beast!
Yes! Love this!

Good tip

I upgraded my chain and bar to 12 inches. The thing still cuts hard with the larger bar and chain.
Nice
How well does it lube the chain when you use the tool upside down
good question

Yes! No cords 10000%

Love these details and feedback!
I’m wanting to get this now

Is there a pruning head for it?
There's a hedge trimmer attachment for it
What oil do you use mine come with no oil
Any bar and chain oil, I’m using the ryobi biodegradable bar and chain oil 24 oz from Home Depot
How strong is the pole? Will it bend like the DeWalt Pole Saw?
Nice saw perfect cutting tree. Keep it up!
Thank you!

Good tips to know thank you!
I had a similar experience assembling the trimmer handle
Good to hear!
Absolutely love this pole saw, but you're using it upside down. Can't imagine that the oiler is going to work worth a darn upside down either.
Thanks for the tip
Did i set mine up upside down. Or did you
Haha

What size battery does this saw use?
Here is the one we use amzn.to/3SEf6x9
Any m18 battery.

You have it upside down
Lol 10 mm lost 100% accurate
Looks handy, but how often will you use it 1000 bucks doesn’t grow on trees…haha
What do you mean you don’t need to use the extender? Are you kidding? It’s not long enough with the extender. Much less without it.

Wow, that’s insane
