what a nice neighbor. every time he finds you in his house, he thinks, "oh you must be lost; here, that's your house, let me take you there so you can go back to sleep"
I wonder if there's actually a reason for you to be spying on your neighbor or if the twist is that you are the psychopath. Also, it's fun that you can escape him by sleeping. "Oh, he's asleep. Guess I can't reach him. Bummer."
Considering the game is still in alpha they probably wont implement a more logical reason for the neighbour to leave you be for a while. For example, it might be that each time you get caught the next run is actually a new guy who moved in, found the last guy's notes and set out to find out his neighbours secrets. doesn't really explain why the neighbour leaves all the useful stuff you stole in your house though.
If only that was the case ( it would have been a better game) Now the story kind of makes getting into the basement pointless because the story all ready tells you
I like how he had to actually use a box to break the window before jumping through. It gives the feeling of a more even playing field when you both have to use objects around the house.
I like the textures in pre alpha and alpha 1 more than the full game. And the AI in the full game seems like he has eyes on the back of his head in the full game.
Apparently he also places the guy breaking into his house back in his room every day for a timeout as well. The logistics of this game make absolutely no sense.
its the music, sometimes it's too loud but im ok with it 🤣 i learnt all the music so it doesnt scare me now, just the volume is unexpected sometimes@@Xtreme_Official1
Ahh, the pre alpha. I think this game was good but as you said this version was only for a test gameplay, which is why you were able to do so many glitches. Alpha 1 would have been my favourite build, though, even though I do love this version!
So..He Jumps through his window and shatters glass…When he can just walk through a door? Also. When you Sneaked into the Furnace room. Your shadow had a very similar shape to the Neighbors. Do The player and the neighbor share the same model?
The player and the neighbor do not share the same model, in a video it is revealed the player actually looks like a thin-teenager (even though the player is an adult)
This man is sketchy as hell. He puts set beartraps in his front yard. On top of that, in one instance you didn't even break in, he just charged you for coming over to his house.
Not to mention that he has blocked off his upstairs with furniture piled on the stairs, blocks doorways and different areas with furniture, rearranges things frequently, arranges rooms in very peculiar ways, and STACKS APPLES ON TOP OF EACH OTHER ON CHAIRS WHO DOES THAT?
Imagine if there was a twist ending that you discover he isn't hiding anything in his basement. You're just breaking and entering into this poor guy's home and he finally calls the cops on you. Lol
For people who did not know this is early pre-alpha which might be lost but theys alot of changes in some parts of this version like imagine pre alpha but its more like the prototype
@TheAmazingPeterB your comment makes sense now that i think of it because im pretty sure in the AI Rundown video theres no doorbell but here theres a doorbell
This is a really interesting concept for a game, matching wits with a strange and suspicious neighbour. I do find it a little strange that you only get to romp around the bottom floor of the house, although the neighbour probably puts a little too much pressure on the player to make sneaking around the upper levels feasible.
See, the Pre Alpha version was good, because it had the old Chase music (best music), and I found it more of a puzzle, as soon as the neighbor would exercise rarely which gave you opportunities, because the neighbor would normally see you. There are a few problems with the version, and here are some reasons-the neighbor would always watch TV and hardly do anything else. There were many silly things about the game. My favourite thing about the game, is that the neighbor would move stuff around the more you got caught. At first, the hammer and crowbar are in their ordinary places (hammer is furnace room, the crowbar in the closet round the back of the house). Then , the more I got caught, he moves them. Once, he moved the hammer and crowbar on the wall of the garage, and put bright orange and green lights in his house, and would build a pile of boxes and a bin on top. Weird version, love it.
Everytime the guy changes his defences and how he organises the house depending on your previous attempts to get into the house. For example, he'll slap some cameras on the front door if you go there too many times, or place traps at the back door etc.
also, all the houses used in the alphas arent the final house. This house is completely different from a different from one in another alpha. The final game's house will be much bigger.
To people who think this was edited. This was a early footage of pre alpha it's an early version of it with some differences. And the chase music at the start didn't even get to be heared because you know unfinished projects work like in a footage and the finished projects work like. Besides the sound effects. We're supposed to be in this early gameplay but you can see in the nightmare sequence you hear a bashing sound but it doesn't have a bashing sound in the real one. They did remove them ofc because. In one of the video parts you don't see a couch in the living room just some chairs.
It IS edited. The chase music would work correctly on all other instances in this video. ue4 (the game engine) doesnt work like that for one moment it just "doesnt play because its unfinished" also the footsteps would just not play for no reason sometimes and then pop up again.
@@5R1YU7H4 there is? have you NEVER played pre alpha before? In pre alpha, the layout changes throughout the game. One of them is the layout where instead of a couch, there is a cupboard and a chair.
