Good to see you in Ireland and glad you had the patience to show something interesting, (but maybe not UA-cam flashy). Try and get some crab claws, and fresh caught mackerel fillets on the bbq. I mean fresh too! Off the line and on within minutes.
Will, This is by far my favorite video. I learned so much from Sinead. I'm soo happy I found your channel. Thanks to you I use the entire fish that I harvest instead of just the fillets. Good work! Keep making great content.
Great video Will! What an incredibly interesting video. This was so good that if I make it to Ireland, I’m going to try to go to this farm. All the info was great but that food looked so good. Thanks for sharing! Now to go find part 2.

Hi Clams Master Will, Sister Clams Jen, Momma Clams Carol 🙂, nice adventure dude, funny enough Lobster was considered POOR man food and was served to peasants, poor and prisoners back in the day, funny how things change now lol, that Lady and her mom were very knowledgeable, I laughed when sister Clams Jen and you ate the plant that tasted like mustard and it was spicy but momma Clams and you didn't flinch but it hit you near the end lol 🙂, great content, as always stay safe, stay awesome out there y'all 🙂
I found that a lot of Irish refuse to eat shellfish due to the stigma attached to it. The British claimed all the salmon and good fishing. The Irish were left to eat seaweed and oysters mussels crab and lobster. Now that meal would cost you a mortgage payment!
@@CookingWithClams I feel you on that for sure my friend, I can't do the mussels thing my twin brother Darren loves em but for the life of me I can't lol 🙂

What a great video! I loved learning about the different types of edible plants o the Irish coast. The food looked amazing. As a world traveler myself, I also look to food as insight into the culture. Safe travels and we are looking forward to you sharing more of your Irish adventures! Thank you!
Very interesting video, Will. I was introduced to kelp and some very tasty sea creatures when I was stationed at Ft. Ord, Ca. In the very early 70's. I still crave those flavors to this day. Enjoy your Ireland trip and all she has to offer. Best wishes and safe journeys to you and your family, Steve

In Australia we have are fortunate that kelp, abalone ,and things like succulents called purslane are abundant all historically Aboriginal food.love the Vid
Hi Will, long way from QW but great episode. I often use foraged seaweed salads and catch black lip abalone also. One of my favourite Ab recipes is sliders which I mince the meat and bind it with a little salt. Vary the recipe a bit but I keep it simple with a little squeeze of lime or lemon and a touch of Japanese mayo. Love this episode as usual, look forward to the next! 😋
Both are very new to me. I would compare abalone to conch and have definitely ha a conch burger. The seaweed blew my mind. She did incredible things with it

Good one bud!!! Irish moss is used in beer brewing to help settle particulates out during fermentation(I think it also helps settle out proteins that could coagulate) don't quote me! I want to try abalone!
