What happened with TGC? So sad watching them self-destruct these past couple of years. They had an active community just a few short years ago, now their forums and discord are almost completely dead. Hard to believe this is from the same company that made Dark Basic and FPS Creator. On Steam they are selling packs of 2D icons as DLC for this, which seems really desperate :(
I disagree wholeheartedly. The community is active and growing, the product is improving regularly, and the DLCs are created and sold by 3rd party artists, not TGC. So you need to get better informed.
@@bloodmooninteractive Well it's your prerogative to disagree, but I've been a TGC customer since 2000 and have bought most all of their main products over the years. And I've never seen things this bad. TGC themselves used to host game making competitions with prizes, lots of engagement with the community. MAX is supposed to be the flagship product, and the dlc is some of the worst quality they've ever offered, no quality control whatsoever.
@@hnester6707 And you'd rather them be doing that then fixing the bugs and optimizing the engine? That's the point. They're learning from their mistakes and leaving DLCs to others. In fact I think it's awesome that they're providing an avenue for talented independent artists to sell their work. But from what I can tell you have a great many misconceptions and misunderstandings to correct. They are not offering the DLCs, they are merely facilitating the artists to be able to sell them. You can choose not to buy them. I don't buy all of them for sure.
@@DBird-gh2ui I believe in fostering a community that supports one another, and I try to encourage everyone to do the same. Unfortunately I'm but one voice. Sorry you had that experience.
Are you ever going to make the bullet impact and gunplay / ragdoll worth playing. It looks beautifull. But no one will play your games. They suck. I wish i didnt buy all the dlc. I never use the engine. Its lame. The gameplay man. Screw all these stupid switch mechanics. Put some real effort unto gameplay.
Sorry you feel that way. There are lots of improvements planned for Max but it may take some time. Understand that I am not the developer. I'm not an employee of TGC. I'm just a fan trying to help others learn the software.
This behavior is new to me, thanks
your ideas are cool
Would you do a tutorial on how to warp one animal/character to another place like the warp pods in The Fly?
Have a look at the Swap behavior. It could be used for that.
Is this the Small G one?

It's because the gameplay sucks
