Thank you, kindly 🙏. Always believed that the beauty of Football Manager is that it allows you to craft stories. That's why we have our memories of favourite saves with players with discovered or developed, or achievements in the face of adversity, etc...
Just found your channel and can’t get enough of these videos. Love the content from the way you think about football to the way you tell the story. Everything is so thought out to every detail. Loving it!
Yeah, just to say, the way you are relaying these storylines along with providing tutorials is done so well. They really are excellent, keep up the great work.
These videos just get better and better. I'm still not 100% confident with using an attributeless skin, but I'm getting there! I've also got Limnios as a squad option in my Panathinaikos save, he's reasonable dependable when needed
Thank you, much appreciated 🙏 I was gutted to miss out on Limnios. Would've been nice to bring him "home" and I thought he'd be really useful. Could cover either striker role or at wingback. Oh well.
You're going to make me blush 😊, and thank you for not mentioning that pronounciation of Liagas 🙈, or the spelling of Academy (which I've only just seen now)
Seems to be really interesting episode. It took me a little while to get into this current training system but I've had great results lately mainly thanks to the fact that I have started training the players in the same individual role as they have in the tactics. I also tend to always include match review and team bonding as the day after the game routine and that has done wonders to our team cohesion. Mentoring is another thing that I tend to concentrate a lot on.
Absolutely. I've always trained starters in the role they are most likely to play (or, if one of the roles they fulfil is in a position they are NOT natural in, then that takes priority). Just narratively it makes sense that you'd want a player to be learning the thing you're expecting him to do in game. Mentoring is something I've always been a lot more selective with, and will definitely need to wait until the summer. I don't want players picking up habits from more senior players I plan to eventually get rid of.
Hello I just noticed that the gamed you picked below the video description is FM23 and not FM24, is it done on purpose? I was wondering why I couldn't find your videos while browsing directly by game. There is a chance you are missing on many views by not having the "right" game version set.
I was delighted when he saw that he applied...and then a little nervous that maybe his tactical preferences might not match 😂 He only applied for Chief Scout, and after more than 4 months of the advert being out there, and he's got no interest in HOYD or Ass Man, but I might consider pushing him up to DoF at the end of the season.
Would you consider doing a video of how you go about recruiting for your youth teams like this? I guess with your approuch to the game and being attributeless it would be quite different from the norm.
You look at attributes being "good" in key areas and for scouts to suggest they have capacity for growth. That's it. Sadly, not enough to make a video out of 😂 (I'm sure there are many out there who would try and stretch that one sentence into a 10 minute video)
Whilst you can get performance data from going to competition pages and work from that, it's usually pretty useless. The disparity in quality between players at that level is too high to meaningfully analyse. Once players start making first team appearances (possibly on loan at a lower league club) you can start to identify those who are performing well in exactly the same way you would for other senior players. You might not expect as rounded a profile, but possibly to do well in one or two specific areas.
@@mustermannfm of course I did, you make really solid videos to watch. Even though I'm not really feeling fm lately, I still watch paok as it's just well done and has interesting stories. And sometimes it's even funny too.
@@Roxyx2 I get that. I definitely find that most games go in cycles. Play them non stop for a month, then lose all mojo. Surprisingly making videos has helped with FM because even with a career like PAOK, there are other things happening in between (like trying to work how the **** video editors work - I still don't know!) 😂
Hey Mate. Really enjoying the skin, and getting in to it. I've spotted a little niche bug. On the player profile in the top right corner, there is a box with the players playable position, and some information. (prefered foot, wage, contract etc.) Im danish, so the information about the internation caps are overlapping down to the prefered foot display. And on other players i am missing the first two letters :D Big ups once again for the skin!
I found your channel a while ago and have been loving your content! Been too busy to keep up but I'm starting to catch up again. I had to comment when you mentioned my home team: Guingamp! You butchered its pronunciation though, I'll need to teach you. In all seriousness, your videos have been fantastic, I hope you can keep enjoying making them
Welcome! Apologies for the butchering - and I'll apologise in advance because I might end up getting it wrong again in tomorrow's video 🙈 Guingamp were actually one of the teams I'd considered for my main career, seeing if we could build something around Hugo Picard!
@@mustermannfm No worries, it's an easy one to get wrong. A Guingamp career would be really interesting, with some interesting names linked to the club in the past. A club that has overachieved in the past, but has now settled into midness
@@calumlonie9115 I think that's what makes them interesting. They've got decent infrastructure to build on - decent size stadium (for Ligue 2) and good location in terms of fanbase (Rennes and Brest closest, but not THAT close). Add in a couple of players that look like they could be quite good, and they're an interesting candidate for an FM career to slowly build your way up to the top.
Simple and imaginative story telling. Better than some much bigger channels that concentrate on quantity over quality.

The Ajax article is pretty inspiring.

Thomas schaaf coming in is class id have put him as your youth team manager or assistant manager

Stafyllidis can also play as a center back as i can recall
He can indeed. But he also can't jump or head, so I'm never going to risk that 😂
