Lucy is phenomenal vocalist and I had the chance to watch her live on stage in Oct.2024/London. Lucy with a big Orchestra and her Duet partner for Musical Rosie will be forever in my mind. Also her little sister Martha sung together with Lucy and I think this was such a wonderful surprise when they performed "When you believe"! Time went so quick, but full of great songs🎉 Every moment just a dream...and I still do!❤
Lucy has had a voice coach from the age of 7!,the Manchester concert last March was her first major performance, before then Lucy had been involved in a few private performances, her second concert will be in Tokyo next month, followed by The Theatre Royal Drury lane concert in October, that will be her biggest venue so far!,next year will see her starring in the musical 'Rosie'in the 'West end',Lucy has been brought on very steadily by her mentor Chris Broom of 'Cavendish records' who has written the musical around her,he signed her when she was 14 after seeing something special in her after her appearance on The voice kids!,Lucy as well as developing her stage craft also concentrated on her schooling so she would have something else to do with her life should she not find success as a vocalist!,but as we now know she is one of the finest out there & my particular favourite!,i believe in the next 2 yrs she will be known to a much wider audience especially if 'Rosie' is successful!.😊
Lucy is flawless! That voice is just perfection, she always instinctively knows how to sing a song and there is an aura around her, she is just so mesmerizing!
I was there! This was Lucy’s first full length public concert and Rosie was written with Lucy in mind and is based on the true story of Rosie Boote who went from being an orphan, via being a musical theatre star in Londons Gaiety Theatre to marrying into British aristocracy against the wishes of the establishment including the King
Hey Zack. This is Lucy at her best. She is just so talented. As you have mentioned she can sing anything. I have enjoyed watching her perform for 4 years now. I have also ran out of words in the English language to explain just how perfect her singing skills are. Thanks for your support of Lucy. What we are watching here is the making of a super star. Stay safe, healthy, and free.
Zack - great analysis again - Thx! I think a few have already mentioned - but this was Lucy's 1st Public concert - She had just turned 20 the month before. She had previously done some small private events. I think Covid played a part in slowing down some stage stuff for her, including Rosie - but she seems to be gearing up now for more Stage and concerts. I am still blown away by her "Live" voice - It is just spectacular. She emotes and expresses so well - even her younger teen studio releases display her abilities to really perform the song and make you feel it - its a skill she has seemed to have from an early age. She really has it all & I think its obvious she is going to be spectacular in Rosie and her upcoming concerts. When you have time - check out her LIVE version of "At Last" from Manchester - Thx!
Hi Zack This is the 1st concert that Lucy has performed in front of a large audience. She was nervous a bit at first when she came on stage. Once Lucy started to sing, the nerves vanished, and she soared. By the time she had reached this point, Lucy was thriving in the atmosphere of a live performance. There was 1 more song after this, and it was ??? Oh, Martha came on stage and performed a couple of songs with her sister.
Just FYI the only original music Lucy has recorder so far has been written by Chris Broom for the musical Rosie. Chris is the owner of Cavendish Records and signed Lucy at age 13 right after "The Voice Kids, UK". Chris is also her manager. I would love to see Lucy do more originals, Chris's or otherwise!
Great reaction Zack, yes you're right Lucy can sing just about anything flawlessly. Try her cover of the classic Whitney Houston song "Run To You" from the movie The Bodyguard. Also her amazing performance of the song "Listen" when she was only 14 years ago, it's something special.
Hi Zach- captivating is a perfect description of Lucy, the vocals and the music. I feel the same emotion from this song as I feel from several Les Mis songs- One Day More, Do You Hear The People Sing, etc.
Hello Zach, thank you for your amazing reaction to Lucy singing " We Can Change The World " from the new musical " Rosie " opening in London early next year, Lucy will be the leading Lady in this musical, the whole musical was written by Chris Broom who has won many awards for song writing & who is Lucy's manager. The songs of this musical are truly amazing & I think it will be a worldwide hit. Take care, Barbara.
Miss Lucy Thomas could be a record-breaking, one woman Broadway musical. Some day, angels will sing back-up for Lucy. Be well and happy, from an old hippie :)
Her duet HOLD ON is with Will Callan and fairly recent. Her first duet with him was CAN I HAVE THIS DANCE when they were in high school. Plus, the two of them have done a number of others. Would love to hear you react to them. Keep up the awesome reactions.
She has done quite a few Disney songs just to mention two The Prayer as a solo was Disney originally from Return To Camelot When You Believe is also Disney from The Prince Of Egypt
Zack, I believe this is the final song in Rosie. And the ending has the feel of a finale. I get the feeling that when this is performed on stage that the curtain will drop to end it all.
She sounds really good for being live, I don't like saying better cuz she's damn good, She sings like she is made for the stage, Disney, They have there own recording studio and at the age 7 and being raised with someone that does opera and her mother sings, But what a outstanding performance singing that good live, Oh I'm waiting she is do out with another one anytime now it's been to long since the last one,,,, What kind words you said about Lucy too, Stay cool and may you be blessed Zack
Chris Broom is the owner of Cavendish records company who signed Lucy at age 13. Rosie is based on the real life of Rosie Boot ,a poor girl marrying a powerful english Lord against the wish of the english nobility and the King himself. The real Rosie passed away in 1957, after being invited a 3 King/Queen coronations.❤👍👏
FYI Chris Broom owns cavendish records, Lucy Label, and writes songs for Lucy and the musical ROSIE. Lucy has sung on stage for a couple of charity events and a couple of Private concerts starred in three school plays and sang at her local soccer stadium and busked the local streets she has been there done that !!! Lucy can flat out sing and does not need any of the phony vocal or stage gymnastic or a skin show to divert attention, Lucy can sing !!! thanks for the react !!
Lucy also recorded the original WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. It is found on her LucyThomasMusic website. It is a very interesting video because she sings and it also shows the orchestra accompanying her. I really like your reactions.
First official professional performance for pay but she has been performing in school productions onstage and performing at private functions for many years plus her appearance on The Voice Kids.
Zach, one of your comments was not correct this was Lucy’s first public concert. You’re right she’s been singing for years but not at a venue like Manchester Stoller Hall.

Lucy is Magnificent beautiful sung this from the 'Rosie' the Musical song.
Great reaction Zack
This young lady was born to be on a stage. Absolutely stunning performance.

This was better than anything else I’ve seen! She put more life in it if that makes any sense. 💜💜💜

She is one of those artists who other singers will be covering in 10 years.
Covering and coming up embarrassingly short 😂
First Live Event with an Audience, and no previous Stage Appearances till this in March
First official professional performance for pay but she has been performing in school productions onstage and performing at private functions for many years plus her appearance on The Voice Kids.
This was her first concert!
Lucy put "cats" to the sword aged 15. Memory was the song that harpooned me. Check it out...... I think you'll be in awe.
This is her first time on stage professionally
