Next to a mosque is this huge fish market near a harbor. Upon arriving I was amazed at the catches around Jakarta and the size of these fish, lobsters, and crabs. This was really a nice place to find big fish wholesale. Immediately I was treated as a buyer, and was probably perceived to be a restaurant owner out shopping for the daily menu. After meeting all the friendly people I headed to the quay and harbor where I witnessed a bustling sprawl of fishing vessels and loads of fish sliding down ramps. This is a very old way of life for these people and will continue to be so for many years in the future.
