- THE COLLECTION continues with Classic DOCTOR WHO on Blu-Ray! Within this beautiful boxset, SEASON 20 was first broadcast back in 1983, and was the second season to star Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor! Facing Omega, the Mara, the Black Guardian and even the Master, the 20th anniversary year for the programme certainly was jam-packed! And in one could be the biggest box set yet, join me as we unbox it to find out what it contains!
Doctor Who is the longest running science fiction programme in the world, first beginning in 1963, with new episodes still coming almost 60 years later! The Collection range began in 2018 and since then has gone to please fans who want a concise way to collate the many classic seasons of their favourite show!

We're over half way through the classic series now, nice to see another peter Davison season again!

Can’t believe how quickly classic dr who fell from the 20th season to ending only 6 years later

The King's Demons wasn't meant to be the season finale. Strikes caused the season be be truncated. Resurrection of the Daleks was shunted into S21. Michael Wisher was to have returned as Davros
I live in the USA, so I'm used to getting releases late from AmazonUK; but my copy hasn't even shipped yet...
Fingers crossed it ships soon!
2:12 the damage to the box is just heartbreaking.
I can live with a tiny bit of it! The content at least is undamaged!
Waiting for standard edition
Can’t imagine why you’d reject the proper versions of these sets for objectively-inferior ones that won’t be released for years.
@@DrWhoFanJ simple A not enough space B or money am disabled with small flat bills etc come first
@@GLOBEREVIEWS A makes no sense as the proper versions are actually the ones that takes less space, and B just needs decent planning skills (I’m in the same position myself and I still manage fine).

Series 20 is my favourite Peter Davidson series of classic Dr who It has got Some amazing story like the five doctors and murdered under dead and the elingtment and ark of inflation and and snake dacing and I have got the five doctor original dvd and the first story of series 20 on dvd
The new special edition is great! The music is brilliant (as is all of the 80s stuff imo) but the edits are a bit clunky.
Season 2 was also a 9 disc set and is the same thickness as S20
Amazing set but the only thing I’d say to people is check the discs! The first one I got had a scratched Terminus but luckily the replacement was perfect. I’ve had a lot of QA issues with Blu-Rays brand new for a few months, not just Doctor Who sets.
Hi. Got my copy of Season 20 from HMV through the post this morning release date at 9.35am. Unboxed it straight away and enjoyed looking through the discs and the booklet
Lee Binding has done a brilliant job again .just finished watching arc of infinity. I always watch the stories first and then go through the discs again to watch the special features. It's going to take ages but who cares. It's Doctor who.
It's a small thing, but did you notice that the texture of the box was different than the previous releases? It was more glossy whereas previous ones were a bit closer to a matte finish? It's not easy to see, but it feels very different to the touch. I think I'm going to hold off on watching until I get there in my chronological re-watch. I've got Robots of Death next -- enjoying all the S14 Extras as I go!
I’ll wait until they come out on standard then wait until they are cheap. Been getting them for £20 or less from EBay and CEX, with me buying S8 from the latter for only £12.
When it comes to physical media I try to go for the standard edition of things. I’d rather them go with the rest of my movies

The plan is to wait till the BBC takes their time for their inevitably disappointing packaging of their US/Canada release (sorry couldn’t resist taking a swipe at just how atrociously barebones the packaging is for the American version on these Collection Blu Rays, heck most of the time we barely even get the booklets!))

I hate how they do the season numbering for the US releases. I understand us getting the short end of the stick with DW stuff but it’s just odd. Also UK rating warnings are so obnoxious and ugly so I wouldn’t wanna collect those versions anyways
