I played my light pedal for the first time yesterday. I zoned out and 3 hrs flew by like nothing. Most inspirational pedal I’ve played in a long time.
Pete is amazing how he displays the amazing things this pedal does! I got this pedal over the holidays and finally plugged it in today... didn't even dig into the sound possibilities with OD & distortion yet.. that's how deep you can go with this thing... with just a clean tone! It's an amazing pedal for creating some of your own very unique sounds! Definitely inspiring! Thanks Pete... you ROCK!!! 😎🤘 🎸⚡️🎛
The best vid I've seen on this product so far. Thankyou for actually familiarising yourself with the pedal beforehand and playing to the pedal's strengths. All the other vids seem to consist of dialling up a random tone & going "Woah that's crazy. Maybe somebody could find a use for it".
What I love about your vids is having someone with taste, and a decent understanding of sounds, who can play and actually demo the gear, not someone who thrashes the crap out of everything in an attempt to show off. I have picked up a few bits based on your demos and have been very happy with all of them. Thank you.

The baritone part was awesome. Wanted more of that. I see they are encouraging the physical contact with the pedal. The unlabeled kinetic effect.

Amazing pedal, and great demo! The layout with all of the easy-to-use dials is right in my wheelhouse. Been looking for a new delay with options that I can use and understand.

I so want the 3 gsmechanger pedals that I know of, this, the sustainer one, and the plasma. Those in combination with my helix!? I just can't think of any limitations with that combination.

Just got mine. Excited to explore it.
First impression, this seems to have an issue that the AnaSounds, Little Leilani etc don't have, which is the foot switch is part of the unit, rather than being separate to the spring tank - so if you are turning it on or off mid-song, it'll be noisy. Otherwise, the unit and its onboard fx etc seem great. Not cheap, but considering the extra options, also not much more compared to other tank units.
I did wonder about the footswitch issue.
There's a switch on the top panel of the protection that can turn on shock protection.

I think this is the first pedal Pete has showcased that I was generally not all that impressed with. Stayed for his compositions though cuz well, it's Pete Thorn. Nice video dude.

Yes, over complicated reverb is not on my mind. I just want some reverb from my Fender amp and that is all.

A great new pedal comes out everyday.. this is the first one in a long time that I have seen that got me excited to throw 350 dollars down the pedal toilet..great sounds that don’t sound like every other reverb on the market..inspiration pedal for sure!
Yup...points here for it being rather unique, but I just don't see it being overly useful.
Perhaps for studio folks it may have more value where some unique sounds are what they are looking for on a given recording.
Anyway, I guess it may appeal to some. 💡

@@RaxFx Well we got a 'paid promo' demo banner here, although that doesn't dissuade me, transparency is important.
However, this was the most informative of the batch I have seen.
Ar the other end of the scale was another with just some playing. Sure the playing was great, but so many effects were used, nobody would know what the pedal itself brought to the table. I don't recall seeing a banner on that video, although one other reviewer stated he was sent the pedal and gets to keep it.
So, yeah I find it suspicious, on the basis it seems like a carefully planned advertising campaign.
There's no doubt what wasn't known yesterday, is fairly well known now!
Kudos for clever marketing and creating a unique pedal.

Gimmick? Hmm. Not sure I agree. In the right hands, this pedal seems like it can be a studio like source of sounds where you'd usually need a producer/engineer to help create such sounds. Make sense?

I think the size of it makes it annoying. The crazy lights.
This would be annoying when you live.
I think anything is important in studio use. I use rice and sand as shakers.
