- A day in the life video at Loyola University Chicago.
If you’re new to the channel or don’t know who I am: what’s up! My name is Riz and I’m a sophomore at Loyola studying marketing. I’m super into photography, entrepreneurship, crypto, traveling, business, making tiktoks, and more.
This is my first attempt at making a real vlog so I would love feedback on the video and the style of content. Go ahead and comment something down below. The video itself was 100% shot and edited on an IPhone 11 Pro. I know the audio was very (very) poor in some parts (don’t worry I’m working on it) so thank you for bearing with me.
If you liked the video, consider subscribing and definitely check out my socials. I post stories frequently (sometimes) on my Instagram and upload edits on TikTok all the time (fairly often).

What's up! Thanks again for watching. Sorry for the bad audio quality, I shot all the footage on my phone so some the sound came out a bit iffy. Working on finding a solution rn so thanks for bearing with me. If you enjoyed the vid, subscribe, like the video, or drop a comment. Also if anyone has questions or just wants to connect, DM me on Instagram i'll respond ASAP.

Gurl I got accepted to Loyola a month ago!!
That's super exciting! Let me know if you have questions.
@@rizzaheer one question, do we have to share apartments? Is there anyway we can get an alone apartment in Loyola?
@@zzthelazy351 So Loyola has a two year residency requirement where you are technically supposed to live in dorms. Lot's of kids get around it though by saying they are commuting from home and they will just get an apartment nearby in Rogers Park. If you are wondering specifically about the dorms, some dorms offer studios (just for you), you just need to look through the website and see which dorms offer it. Hope that helped.
nice editing🔥
thank you!

No problem :)
Hi! Im thinking of transferring next year to Loyola, what would you say the social/academic life is like?
Sorry for getting back to you so late. Social and academic life have been great. Socially speaking greek life is not a big thing at Loyola so if you're looking for that I would look elsewhere. We do have it and I have friends involved who enjoy but it really isn't a big deal if you want to be involved in social life which I find nice. Being so close to the city there are always places to go out to and explore. You'll find a whole range of people as with any school where there are kids who go out all the time, kids who never go out, and many kids in between like myself. It's just about surrounding yourself with friends who want that as well. Academic life is good, depending on your strength as student you may find it easier. I went to a competitive highschool so a lot of the core classes I took were not challenging at all, but as you dive more into your major specific courses they get more interesting and challenging. Generally speaking people like to do well and care about their grades and academics which is great. Professors are good, always check rate my professor as sometimes there are just crappy ones - it happens. Overall I think there is a great balance between the two. Where are you transferring from? Another Chicago school? Let me know if you have any other questions. Sorry again for getting back to you so late.
The video quality tho ✨✨
thank you :)

yes
Looking forward to even more vlogs! This was so entertaining!
How affordable is Loyola?
it’s not❤️
depends on your financial situation and how much scholarship you have
It’s not, do your self a favor and run the other way
@@nanasam-brew137 did you go to Loyola? If you did, it sounds like your experience was bad?
Hey Mike! Sorry for getting back to you so late. Loyola can be pricey, but from talking with other students and my own experience they do a decent job at providing scholarships you can apply for along with financial aid. I also know kids who do federal work study which helps a lot. The initial price tag can be scary but there are ways to drive it down. Here are some of the scholarships available if you want more info: www.luc.edu/finaid/scholarships/
What about racism in there. I'm an african
You just giving these shoutouts for free??
