A dynamic side body and oblique focused class working in kneeling, side planks and some standing work with the option to add weights. We will then stretch out those sides at the end. The side body is so important to work to help support our spines and posture.

Just found Lottie's channel this past week, and am already seeing how much of a difference it makes to have an Intention > Intensity mindset. I'm less concerned about results and more concerned with having a connection with my body, which is new for me. Since high school, I have usually tried to do two or more workout videos all at once, but with Lottie, I can do one video and feel just as strong afterwards, and a lot more fulfilled. Thank you for your calm and encouraging content, Lottie! I can't wait to finish out the 24 day challenge with you.
Yay love this, am seeing such a difference since doing more oblique focussed workouts, but more importantly I finish your videos feeling empowered and less stressed! Hi, Lottie! I started following your videos in March of this year, and have to tell you I feel the best I ever have! I am a fairly active woman in my late 30s, and have run, done weight training, and more intense circuit type workouts in the past for long periods. But Pilates has been the most sustainable for me, and I’ve only missed days if I’ve been not feeling well. I actually look forward to this every morning! Thank you for sharing on this platform; I’m hoping to eventually be able to sign up for your subscription based service next year as a gift to myself for continuing my daily practice in 2023!
Lottie, I just found your channel and I LOVE your videos. They’re so gentle but strong, I think this is the form of exercise I’ve been searching for. I actually look forward to doing your workouts! I’ve exercised on and off and have a strong will but I cannot stick with it because of time constraints or how hard some exercises are on my very bad R foot and ankle. Your so soothing to work with. I just thank you!!!

I learned to never do Pilates side exercises because by strengthening the side muscles it widens the waist and reduces its natural hourglass shape into a more boxy one, so I do everything Pilates minus the obliques
Where did you learn about this concept.
@@janetkalo7520 many modern day fitness influencers on social media spread this information towards women so they can build an “hourglass shape” within their waist, but i don’t think it’s actually true since there is no weight to these exercises.
