Sharks aren't monsters, they can be curious. But for sure, a curious great white shark is scarier than a curious little bird 😂

I used to believe that but go watch a channel called shark happens and u will see there is hundreds of times sharks hunted humans it didn't bite out of curiosity it was pure predation and its covered up especially in holiday areas and that's why you hear things like sharks don't like the taste of humans and its only by accident they attack or its cos they mistake us for seals but after 1 bite they leave that is absolute bullshit . Salt water crocodiles and sharks are monsters and that's why they have lasted billions of years cos they will hunt everything . They are marvellous creatures but they will kill you without hesitation if that's what they want

@@jamyz232 No, that stuff is absolutely true and them attacking and continuously feasting on humans is the absolute bullshit. Don't get me wrong, it happens, especially if a shark is hungry enough, but it's still rare. Stop promoting fear mongering. Views like this are the reason people think it's okay to just hunt down sharks without needing a reason and why they are currently facing extinction within the next 50-100 years (Great whites anyway).

    • @kyky1689
      @kyky1689 2 роки тому +7

@@jamyz232 There is a big difference between monster and predator. I didn't say they are angels. They still predators. But for sure they are not monsters. I think in term of monstrosity we humans reached the top (and again animals aren't angels too). Sharks are predators, with a great predatory instinct and not the most aware. If they are hungry, see something that look like a prey, they are not going to ask themself "oh wait is that really a prey that give me the necessary to live", if it's really a prey, they don't have to lose time. So they attack and think what is it really after.
You think Lions are monsters? Tigers are monsters ? Bears are monsters ? Hippos are monsters ? Mosquito are monsters ?

"A diver got a little more than he bargained for when he attracted the attention of a great white shark while cage diving."
What in the world did this guy bargain for then??? Cage diving with plankton?
Oh my goodness, the shark that can detect electrical signals was exploring a giant metal cage that's giving off weird electrical signals?! What a revelation!

You forgot to mention how him being "bumped to the back of the cage saved his life". Ummm, the shark BARELY bumped the cage and came to a full stop with it's mouth nowhere near the big openings of the cage. It casually swam away after. The guy was in absolutely zero danger from that shark.
      Ridiculous narration.

was gonna say with the eyes are rolled back on the shark he can't really see so he's just kinda pokin around and feeling the cage. the rolled eyes are in case the cage hits back for some reason.

I will break down how each video made me feel:
1st video (#6): Exactly what I would hope for in a cage dive. Anxiety 1 out of 10 (thank god for the red arrows, I would have been so confused)
2nd video (#5): If you spend any amount of time in the ocean, you have to expect something like this. The shark was curios, investigated, moved on. Adrenaline activating for sure but makes for a good story. Anxiety 5 out of 10
3rd video (#4): What an awesome experience and a beautiful shark. Nothing haunting here. Anxiety 1 out of 10
4th video (#3): Again, you'd hope something like this would happen during a cage dive. There might be a bit of anxiety briefly because that's a big ass shark but that would be amazing. Anxiety 3 out of 10...for a second
5th video (#2): I would have full on shit my pants!!! This is a haunting video. That shark did exactly what it was made to do, used its environment, was stealthy and checked that dudes oil before he even knew what was happening. That guy is lucky the shark didn't want him. That water is too murky for me to be in. Anxiety 5 out of 10 just being in that water, 12 out of 10 when he finally realized the shark was there.
6th video (#1): Another amazing experience however this is definitely one of those situations when you have to realize you are in the sharks house and you damn well better mind your manners. It really is up to the shark on how this one ends. Those dudes stayed calm and got together, the shark checked them out and everything went ok. This would be amazing and a little unnerving as well. Anxiety 3 or 4 out of 10 just because you don't know what will happen.
So there's my take on these. As an added note, these are actually better to watch with the sound turned off. The narrator try's to make the clips much more than they are using words like beast, a lone man trying to cage dive in piece, spear fishing gun and intense clip. Lol, if I was to make a bet, I'd say the narrator is from South Dakota and has only seen this stuff on youtube. But, he has 211K subscribers so he's doing something right.

was gonna say number 3 was one of the most exaggerated ones next to the 1st video and 3rd video. he's like "the shark rammed into the cage" and I'm like he accidentally bumped into it cuz he cant see bro. that 5th video was fuckin just bro shit his pants and I'm honestly surprised that shark didn't just nom his arm off cuz he gave the shark pretty much every greenlight possible to be prey bein in murky water, getting caught off guard and pretty much caressed by the shark, then panic swimming to the surface at full speed (granted no one can blame him)

i haven't been swimming in the ocean since my brother and i saw a tiger shark at the end of the dock where me and my friends used to swim when i was younger. that was in maybe 8 ft deep water in lake macquarie NSW. to my recollection, and my brother agrees it would have been at least 7-8 ft in length, and it swam straight under us just before we were going to jump off the end of the dock.

Okay, the first shark in this video is clearly not attacking. Sharks have very little ways to explore a new thing apart from circling it or teething at it. It's obvious that the lil guy's biting wasn't even aggressive, he was just curious. As for the sharks charging into caves, keep in mind that sharks can't move backwards, so bumping their heads into shark cages is actually more common than you'd think.

    3. Wraring a dark - coloured in particularly a black swimsuit with fins causes ine to resemble a large seal which is a Great White shark's most desired food source.
    4. If a human being is in rhe icean he/she is in shark territory and habitat.
    5. A shark can be considered as the dog of the ocean - they have different temperaments eith moods and will bite if they feel threatened and or agitated and are territorial cteatures like dogs.

This commentator is ridiculous. Humans are in a sharks food chain. The shark biting the cage? He was curious. Their mouth is the only sense of touch they have. It’s not like he has an arm on the end of his fin. I’ve open dived with 3 different shark species and the last thing they see us as is food. Literally, a shark sees a human under water and they think, “the fuck is that?”

Sharks regard diving cages as food wrappers.

"Fending off an aggressive and most likely hungry shark" if that shark wanted him it would have taken him while his back was turned. They are ambush predators. It was just curious about him. Also the diver being pushed to the back of the cage saved his life? What would have happened was the shark going to reach through the bars and pull him out?

Had to laugh at the fact that the film maker felt it necessary to add a large red arrow to show where the shark is....

If your not confident around sharks, don’t even think about entering their territory, dangerous not just for you,bit irresponsible because someone will have to risk their own lives to save your ass,but also you may turn a shark into a man eater once they get a taste,
