My Grandpa had a 58 model, left hand drive of course. Me, my parents and Grandpa drove from Berne Switzerland to the Maserati factory in Modena, there they swapped the four speed gear box with a five speed and serviced the vehicle. That was in 1962 and I was only two years old so I do not remember to much of the trip. Those were the Golden Days when you could service you exclusive GT car at the factory where it had been built. Miss the car to this day. It was the most wonderful car ever owned in our family.
My dad had one of these briefly back in the late 60's. As small children, my sister and I used to hang on to that passenger bar for dear life sometimes in the twisty bits and it was the best! God Speed, Babbo.

Lovely look around of an interesting car. I'm not sure if the juxtaposition at 1:38 was coincidental with the car parked adjacent. Both noses have similar "faces". Beautiful colour and I do enjoy Ian's walk around. The sticker on the back windscreen didn't go unnoticed and is rather timely. I do hope we can see some updates on such a wonderful car.
