Absolutely loving this band right now. Recently new to me and they are on another level.
Great reaction 😁and I couldn't agree more about the hate part. I think it's because a lot of people think that Sleep Token is not metal and it bothers them that they are put into that category, but I honestly never understood it. Why do you need to put music in a certain genre? 🤷If you like it just listen to it and enjoy. My suggestion for the next song is "The Offering" it`s one of my favorite songs by them and I think it's now safe to say that I'm completely in love with Vessel's voice and the whole band 😅😍.
Alkaline was the song that got me into Sleep Token and I’ve been hooked ever since, you’re right I don’t know where the hate is coming from, sure they’re blowing up at the moment but they absolutely deserve it as they’re an extremely talented band.
Regarding song choices, well once you head down that Sleep Token rabbit hole there are so many great songs to hear. My personal favourite is Jaws, another creepy video but such an amazing song, I would also recommend The Offering, Hypnosis, Sugar, The Love You Want, Atlantic, High Water, Gods, Mine, Dark Signs and Jericho.

Glad you're enjoying Sleep Token! 😁 I only recently got into them at the tail end of 2022. They're such an experimental band and it's hard to genrefy them! My favourite song by them is Jaws - totally different vibe but beautiful song! Would love to see a reaction to that one 🙌
Do you know how many times I've listened to this song and watch this video and have not noticed that the dead bodies are there at the beginning of the video? You pointing it out was what it took for me to notice them at the beginning

I appreciate the doses of Pop in their style, it creates instant earworms while in the same song they blow your mind with creativity. I've never heard a pure pop artist to be able to do something like that. I would say the closest to this level of genius would be coheed and Cambria as far as mixing true art and creativity with pop

There's no sense to pay attention to that hate, it's just envious people who are offended that someone is so flexible, creative, does just what he wants and feels with all his heart and putting his soul into.

I just don’t understand the hate. They’re a band of highly skilled musicians with the ability to bring out emotions. I wonder if people don’t want to feel them? Or just the fact they aren’t typically heavy on every track, sounding the same as every other band or song?
Believe me people are definitely feeling sleep token but it's just the vocal minority of gatekeeping arseholes that tend to scream the loudest with the usual comments of "THATS NOT METAL" or "I DONT GET IT IT SOUNDS LIKE (insert pop band name here)" but as I've come to learn over the last couple of years is the metal community likes to complain that metal is dying out and needs to be recognised more but everytime someone special comes along like sleep token, Lorna shore, spiritbox, periphery and electric callboy they start to get big numbers online they automatically turn against them and scream the usual and they wonder why the genres on its last legs since it's stuck in the 80s
