Love to see somone so passionate and humorous! Good talk!
I came here to study yet another speech on curiosity, my own coming up next week. I couldn't be more thrilled with Robin Ince! His delivery defies the structure I am having to use, but never mind that--this man does not need it. I couldn't agree more with his ending! Standing ovation time! It might become my personal opinion that PASSION trumps logic every time, as far as public speaking structure goes. After all, human beings aren't logical beings, despite our insistence otherwise! Oh I know, we wish we were! But let's not kid ourselves. We're not. True passion though, wow! What can't it sell? This was a delightful change of pace for my afternoon. Bravo, Sir!
I loved this, was laughing the whole way through! And you could truly feel his passion towards the subject

'Imps of the mind' = seeds of OCD.
Excellent talk by Robin Ince.
David Andrews Yeah, I believe the term is "Pure O" when these become too distressing or people can't let'em go
Demian Haki Not gonna disagree there. Even if it's so, maybe it should be called that: sometimes, the compulsions don't arrive...
Brilliant!
This is the first time I have watched a talk at 0.75x speed
Contact was a great movie.
Yabba Dabba Doo :-) Astute talk. Kudos!
Ah yes. Imps of the mind. Imagine every possible thing you could ever do wrong in any situation towards anybody and let your mind present it on a regular basis.
👏
