How sad that a car like this costs SGD200K in Singapore. It’s getting ridiculous
WE NEED A 40K DROP IN COE PRICE ACROSS THE BOARD NOW.
We needed it long ago 😢
Can the auto stop(engine) function be turned off?
$203k for this?! Lord have mercy…..
That's 10% down-payment for condo 😆
BMW 1 series all day....
This makes perfect sense for a private buyer. I just bought one and the 1.0 litre is ideal for every day use. Most people don’t need the 1.5 engine - 0-100 a few seconds faster isn’t necessary. Buy a sports car if that’s so important to you 😅
Will there be new Lexus NX review
Perhaps can consider sharing the reviewer's height in order for viewers to better judge the rear seat? I notice that Jon, Julian and Idris often state their height though.
Thanks Rick, Desmond's height is 171cm. We missed it out in this review but we'll be sure to point it out in all reviews!

No M-hybrid version?
What fuel efficiency (litre/100km) did you get while driving this car?
In our drives we managed to get 15.4km/L
@@sgcarmartreviews about the same as 1.5 cc
I will make my ancestors cry if I buy tis car.
How come at 4:10 the LCD screen colour looks weird
Just the way it looks on camera, looks super normal in person.

1.0L sound good for roadtax😁
The $/HP doesn't make sense
I just upgraded to Q3 from A3 1.0. A3 is a fantastic car. I love it but having kid, I need more space. But 203k ……
inst q3 based on a3? shouldnt the space still be similar just q3 is taller?
S$200,000 for a CAT A car that's just 1 liter? And you gave a Will Buy rating? Not sure I can agree with that.
Just paying for the brand and not value. Don’t agree it’s a “Will buy”. Only 20k diff between this and 1.5l variant. 0-100 in 10s is not acceptable.
Precisely the use case, the Audi enjoyer without the need for speed, thus a Cat A COE A3, with the benefits of better fuel consumption and road tax!
- Jay
Note that the 1.5 has a $15k VES rebate hence a lower ARF and therefore lower PARF at the end. Hence it's depre is significantly higher than the price difference would suggest.
As Malaysian, this remind me of Nissan Almera 1.0 Turbocharged
But theirs is lower in hp and torque.
Consumption on 100km?
We averaged 15.4km/L over a couple of days so 6.5L/100km

10.6s... even proton faster
This engine with a simple tune will easily hit 140 HP woth no modifications
Would that be too much wear and tear on this tiny engine?
@@Hiokers2017 Hi Casper, we meet agn (;
Hard to say. Some Audis engines are made and designed to be tuned by external performance co. (Example ABT, MTM) For mine, Premium Automobiles (Audi Singapore) offers a tuning package of their own if a customers wishes to perform upgrades in their performance (Depending on your model) They will also provide the warranty even it’s after being tuned as well.
(;
@@AloysiusTSY may I know how much they charged for the tuning?

Actually 1.0 litre it's a joke.
It will be better for the reviewer to remind potential buyer to refrain from driving on the first lane at all time
Small engine car does not mean i cannot go above 90km/h, mr genius
Purpose of reminding?
@@iVengeancee well your small car definitely can go above 90km/h after you have taken out your seats and aircon and runs on near empty tank, Ms Genius
@@Victor-rt3fx u only driven a cherry QQ ah? No wonder you can think that way. But this Audi since you can’t afford, shall leave you to remain salty ba. 😂 or is it you got beaten by a lower CC engine you can’t take the pinch of salt? HAHAH
@@alpinexy7773 go take your medicine
Underpowered European car. Rubbish hp and torque. Nowadays standard for European cars is below 10 seconds for century sprint. This car poorly achieves 10.6 seconds. Top up a bit get the 1.5 variant lah. 1.0 engine too small you floor the gas pedal, it will scream out loud.
If you’re complaining that 10.6 seconds to get you from 0-100 and that’s slow. It’s not the car’s problem. It’s a YOU problem. The philosophy of buyers of such aren’t looking to floor from 0-100 or even floor when the lights turns green.
You want performance? Get an RS3. Don’t need it? This is sufficient enough for the everyday drives to go alongside with the Asian makes cars.
why will u even want to get this car for performance and top speed 💀. might as well get a RS unless u can’t afford one which it seems to be by what u have commented 🤣🥱

My previous ride was sub 7s and now I drive a sub 11s ride. To be honest, the difference in acceleration is not obvious during normal day to day driving especially during peak hours. Unless one wants to drive so aggressively that your car appears in social media.
@@alpinexy7773 rs3 too slow… we need sleeper cars like S8L
