Mayte has a nice voice and this song is jammin. I really don’t understand why some “fans” love to bash and hate on her. The tragic loss of their baby boy is what drove them apart. The fact that they both grieved very differently didn’t help much either. Don’t get me wrong, I am not blaming anyone! I can’t imagine how excruciating that must have been. I wouldn’t know because I don’t have children. I’m sure Mayte is a wonderful woman and she definitely loved Prince with all her heart when they were together, and you can tell she still does to this day, so why do you feel the need to put her down? They go negative because they are used to trash "music", and can't handle anything that isn't Autotuned to death, which is, basically 98% of today's "popular" music...and also cannot accept that it takes real talent and skill to sing. Why do you think Prince surrounded himself with the artists that he did? He knew talent and skill when he saw it. Today's Top40 "music" is nothing but autotuned bulls**t, and takes no actual talent to make. there are very few real artists making music today. Warner Brothers would not produce Child Of The Sun. They had to take it to Europe of which it did not do well. After listening to this mess, I can see why.
