Absolutely love your Saw videos. That's actually how I found your channel was searching all things, Saw. Love these videos and learning a bit about the body while enjoying the gruesome traps that make these movies fun to watch. Keep up the great content, and I hope to see a part 4 soon.
What's up, doc? The craziest trap for me was the fish-hook in the stomach (SAW 7) - it's not just the brutality but also the fact that pulling the key out would do enough enternal damage to kill the victim. PS: From the spoilers I've seen about SAW X, there are traps where the way of escaping would cause so much bleeding or damage that surviving them is impossible.
Tough shit for the scammers. They shouldn’t have scammed cancer patients. Now karma is coming to bite them in the ass. Also, the traps in Saw X are survivable. The injuries that the subjects would have to inflict on themselves to escape their traps would not kill them instantly and they would’ve completed them successfully if they hadn’t wasted so much time arguing. They would all survive as long as they got proper medical attention in time and John had clearly planned to have Amanda take any surviving subjects to the hospital since he immediately told Amanda to take Gabriella to the hospital after she’d beaten her trap.
It would be dope for him to react to saw X traps since all of the traps have a medical theme to them even if they aren’t necessarily in his specific line of medical work
@@mask938Are you sure they would have survived? For example the leg contains a pretty major artery, infections in and around the brain can easily be fatal, Gabriella's immune system could have been pretty much completely knocked out (not to mention the (highly ironic) risk of cancer) and so on.
It makes me wonder about these deadly contraptions. It also shocked me that the guy with the head in the box used a pen to breathe. I guess you can say. He thought outside the box.

I find the scene with the screws going into the brain most interesting. You say they would not die right away, despite the obvious damage to their brains. The line being drawn there is interesting to me. How much damage and to which specific region would be the minimum?
I’m not a doctor, but I believe the brain can handle minor damages and penetration to the brain, which only cause neurological or functional/memory loss. Certain sections of the brain can cause more damage than others, but as he described, the screws are in the temple and given that the screws don’t go all the way through, it would cause internal bleeding and brain damage pretty fast. If the screws pierced the frontal lobe (assuming this), then it would cause a state of paralysis and loss of motor control. The woman’s state in saw is actually pretty believable, given that her brain would be so severely damaged that she would lose basic function of her body, then eventually bleed out and die of brain damage.
I think it would be very interesting to maybe see you react & maybe debunk or break down any medical accuracy in the scene in Saw III where Lynn performs a decompressive craniectomy on John Kramer aka Jigsaw.
