It's crazy how some people would argue that animation cancelling is pointless, yet the stuff you can do with it opens up the game. For example quick push, quick freezes, and setting up frame traps

And besides combos safer parry’s baiting opponents etc it’s really useful but I do agree some ppl only do it to look “comp” and don’t actually use it that’s wen it becomes pointless imo
This is totally nuts. I'm play since 3 years almost every day and this is maybe the most insane thing I have learned about this game. As a luke main I always wondered, if there is a way to one hit combo with Luke. The only way I found is to parry-push someone into an object to get one hit before doing the repulse. But this is rly situational and rarely works. This combo on the other hand is a game changer. Thx alot :DDD

I wish the 900 dmg combo was consistent. You only get two hits on rush if you get the right positioning, and your opponent isn’t moving at all, then the repulse only chains with rush if the stun lock animation works properly. It’s pretty cool though
Yeah, I think if you take out the rush then it becomes a fairly consistent combo, but only very skilled or very lucky players can use the rush effectively

The first combo in this video is the most unpredictable for opponent, and also deals a ton of damage 🔥
Also you can use it like me, cancelling Rey's push with a jump attack : it's way faster animation what allows in many cases land an extra hit!

No I'm not, and if you've already got intensify, chances are you will have dealt at least 7 prem to vader
What card should I read for Rey in duels? Should I choose focus sight or resilient dash?
Depends on the matchup, but resilient dash is safer
Risky, dash strike can be easily punished by lots of abilities, and can be parried if you're not careful. Down to opinion though, a change in 1 star card won't really make you much better/worse

Could u explain why sometimes Vader or maul can choke enemy that even blocked after throwing lightsaber,and why sometimes they can’t ?
When you get hit by the saber throw, the sparks that appear mean that the block doesn't work for about 1/2 of a second. During this period, Vader/Maul can combo the saber throw with their respective choke abilities. However, the enemy is mid dodge, or if the Vader/Maul is too early/late, then the choke will not land.
@@Xenithuidk bout that. I'm pretty sure when the saber comes back to hit them it causes their block to drop for 1/2 second thus giving you the opportunity to choke in that split second their guard is down. I use this all the time w Maul, I'll hit them with spin attack and sometimes I'll go for the saber throw behind them and when their block is up I can still manage to throw them as my saber returns from the back hit
@@Xenithuwait I misread ur comment. Ur right, I thought u meant when u block the saber throw sometimes the choke can still register during that 1/2 second. Lol my brain

Nah I was taught it by a friend who learnt it from the original creator. I'm not too sure who that is though so I don't know who to give credit too
@@Xenithu what is the name of your friend? I discoverd this combo by myself and yours is exactly the same as mine. In my hole bf2 time i saw only 1 person doing a slightly different version it so its not very well known. This combo was like my thing you know. Thats why i am asking

like what? How consistent, easy, and resource-consuming it is? I would say dooku's is more consistent and easy, however both require all three of their abilities@@Xenithu
