That promo might have been the best "bad" promo I've seen. Got people hyped up and people will talk about it for years, probably. Entertaining overall.
@@govardhanposina17 It's a continuation of the previous joke and it's supposed to make it obvious to the listener just how much more thoughtful Dave is to Kumail. Kumail only noticed the surface level stuff about the woman(that she wore a purple shirt), whereas Dave is so thoughtful that he went the extra mile and took that information, became real friends with the aforementioned "lady who always wears a purple shirt" figured out it was her favorite color and then bought her something really thoughtful that was also purple. It's just an added punchline but it really gives some good depth to the difference between the two people in the story, just more proof that Kumail is an excellent storyteller.

What a brilliant story teller. I had to stop the video I was stress laughing so hard. That has to be one of the best stories I've ever heard on late night. What was wrong with the crowd? Maybe even they are on Dave's side. Seriously, just getting to know Kumail now, but he's going places.
I've met dave in person and he is SOOOOO receptive of fans. He was at the gym, I walked up and asked for a picture. He was like "of course, man. How are you today?" Hes so awesome 🙂
Even more so since he's been lending his voice to tv shows and video games. I've been a huge fan of Kumail from seeing his stand-up comedy specials and when I was playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, one of the characters was talking to me, and I had to stop and think, because I knew that voice. I was thinking it was Kumail, but I never heard of him doing voice overs, so I checked it out and I was right. He's branching out into so much, and honestly, he works hard, is a funny guy, and I couldn't be more happy for him. I would love to see more stand up from him, but no matter what he keeps doing, I'll love it. One of my favorite stories he has is when he was playing some Call of Duty game, and it takes place in Karachi, where he was born, he was so upset the street signs were in Arabic, when they should be in Farsi. I saw another video with Bautista talking about the movie and buying the cast a gift. I had forgotten about this, so I watched it right after... it was pretty funny. I liked it.
