It slightly the same thing but a bit more easy.
In your case, you don't need this silly flywheel pin.
You just need an 8 mm drill bit in the damper pulley to timed the crank shaft.
Kind Regards
Hi Oliver, thanks for great video, is this engine the same as the 2.2L 3EFZ from 2005?
Hello,
I don't know if this procedure fits for that kind of engine.
It works on the EW series.
Hi Pierre that 4th screw is impossible to undo on the plastic cover, even l can not unclip the plastic clip on fuel line without breaking it. How could they design a car like this rediculous.
Hi Kevin,
By the way my name is Olivier.
You are right. Everything is engineered to discourage DIYer's.
Don't give up. I remember trimming a hex key to remove that silly fastener.
@@olipirard Sorry Olivier, dont know where l got Pierre from. That dam 4th screw took me 3 hours. I know one thing it is never going back in there. I can not even think how citroen would get it out. I did make a smaller hex tool ,but it did not really work. Used a normal one, it even took me 30 mins to take the clip away from the fuel line just did not want to unclip. Spent hours an come nowhere. Hope all goes well tomorrow when my engine knowlegeable friend turns up.
exelente muy bien muchas gracias ..congratulations
Hi Olivier , thanks for you video . Could this video work for EW10J4 engine ? Thanks again .
Hello Bobip,
Yes, this procedure works for the EW10J4 (2.0L) engine.
To be sure, take a look under the car to see if you have a big hole behind the intermediate drive shaft.
The purpose of this hole is to insert the "shouldered" dowel (pin?) which lock the flywheel.
Olivier Pirard Thank you your answer ! Have a good day.
buen dia cuales son los puntos para poner el tiempo al motor peugeot 405 o centauro 1.8

Is it possible to send me a picture of your car? Because a Peugeot 405 is far older than 4 years!
what size are bolts that hold tensioner pulley for assessries belt? thanks.
I used a 10 mm socket to replace the serpentine belt's tensionner pulley.
So, screws are 6 mm diameter and we need two of them.
Olivier Pirard thank you verymuch
Exelent video
I only need the 2 camshaft pind?
Do i not need any special tools? Only a drill bit 8mm.
Dan Jensen The drill bit is for the crankshaft.
For the camshafts you'll need specials pins.
okay, thank you
Hello! Can you tell me, how to tension the PK 6 belt?
Sorry, I have no info on this engine.
@@olipirard Thanks for the answer! Your video is great.
Can you please write down the measurements to the pins, so I can make them. Thank you!
Hello,
You can scroll through my channel and you will find a video on the crank shaft timing pin.
I don't have informations on the camshafts timing pins.
@@olipirard Ok! Thank you! Your video is awsome, by the way!
