Such a fun bike - glad Kawasaki makes the SR. I've ridden the '22 KX450SR and the KYB suspension is amazing. How does the '23 KX450SR Showa suspension compare?
The Showa components are equally amazing, just a touch more race oriented than the KYB from 22' with regards to initial feel and that Kayaba plush factor. That being said, with minor clicker and fork height adjustments I was more comfortable on the SR than my personal Kawi! #It'sGood #ReallyGood #ReallyReallyGood
@@CasMoto Thanks for the detailed response! Hard to beat that KYB plush factor. You have any seat time on the 2023 Honda CRF450 Works Edition? Would enjoy your feedback. Just picked mine up last week and go a quick indoor ride so far.
@@mxengineer1 No 23' CRF450RWE time as of yet, just 22' experience. Loved the 18mm shock shaft, coatings, Yosh exhaust, and quality add ons Honda offers. Congrats on the new scoot and Enjoy 👍
How does the sr compare to the yz450?
I enjoy the SR a bit more than the 23' YZ450F, but only because I have more hours and am extremely comfortable on the Kawi chassis. Stock to stock, the YZ450F edges out the KX450, but the KX450SR is a different animal altogether. Good question!
