This is footage from Race 10 of 15 on the day. Felt much better in Moto2 after shaking off some of those Moto1 cobwebs...Big thanks to the entire crew at Glen Helen, Wiseco, Fasthouse, and Pasha Racing for being part of such a cool yearly event.

Letting off too early, not holding it on ,some turns keep throttle on...
Seeing what others are doing here for a short time... Jumping longer,staying wide then turning in sharply or just holding it on the outside...

If you're going to ride the little two strokes you have to learn to use the clutch to keep it in the power band! When your in the corner and you give it the gas, you blip the clutch to shoot you out of the corner! It would have taken five seconds off every lap!!!
It's crazy that this is supposed to be prestigious event and the track is identical as it is on a normal Thursday practice, its actually exactly the same layout as it was when I raced Day in The Dirt in NOVEMBER. C'mon GH, build up a few jumps, add a sand whoop section. Do something. I don't even show up to these races anymore because the track is SO LAME year after year.
Gonna' have to disagree with you on this one, mate! With Top Pros running two minute thirty (plus) laptimes and back sections only utilized for big events like DITD and World Vets, this was every bit a National track. The weather assisted, being overcast all day, so conditions were all time. Not to mention, the sights and sounds are certainly something to be seen in person...
Sand whoops would get so cut up on the big days like this one. Glad they kept it the same

@@JamesyMusial14 I’ve raced here since 2014 and the track has barely changed unless it’s nationals weekend. It is 100% exactly the same as it was in November when I raced DITD.
