Beautiful here we are in 2022 Goodness and ppl are making a rave about this using plaster or filler!
Gesso wow I’d like to try this over plaster.
    Question:
Once the gesso sets. Does it set like plaster? Is the color white or off white and lastly if it’s only off white and I want a white color over the painting how do I do that with what paint? Ty great job

The modelling paste is much thicker. You can make bigger textures.

modeling paste, light modeling paste and gesso all have different absorption rates and consistency so , depending on what you are doing, it will make a difference.

I really enjoy all your art videos! The gesso I use is of good quality, but I think it's thinner; it won't hold peaks and valleys. What are the benefits of using gesso in this way, instead of gel, modeling paste or something like that?

Is there a product that can be used as a isolation coat and a clear coat as well? It would be nice to find something that can work as a clear medium too instead of shopping for three different things. Is this mod poge or what you call it on that canvas or a heavy gesso?
