14:05 Here's a crazy idea: Instead of terminating D-Class when they successfully survive an exploration mission, the researchers could, I don't know, *reward them for doing their job!* 😠
Um, D-class are bottom of the barrel members of society, originally sentenced to death that have probably done some pretty unspeakable things. They don't deserve rewards of any kind.
RIGHT!? Especially when they CLEARLY are capable of mentally and physically recovering!from a singularly SCP Foundation stand IT'S A MASSIVE WASTE OF RESOURCES!!!
Reason and logic are not assured before the Ethics Committee examine the research projects. I agree that a smart D-class should be rewarded, they can provide fresh perspectives on how to safely deal with SCPs.
D-class are the worst of the worst people, usually taken off of death row and multiple life sentences to become D-class, the only reason they’re expendable is because they are irredeemable and no one cares if they die, there’s always someone else to replace them
what i’m trying to say is that they shouldn’t be rewarded for simply surviving, and you wouldn’t want a mass murderer who’s experienced with handling anomalies escape during a containment breach and snag a few usable scp’s on the way out
I love this video format. The SCP stories are great, but I really love the more scientific approach to these. I think it makes it feel more based in real life. Great job!!
It reminds me exactly of the Maze in The Maze Runner, unknown entities inside the maze, faint sounds of other people, marking the walls and floor of where to go, shifting of the maze
Two things: during expeditions like these where a video signal gets too far or interference, why not send a signal booster or relay system? Second: my theory is this scp is a cage for whatever monster lives there. A backrooms like prison where the only exit only appears when someone outside opens it.
Some authors do go that far with full gear and "trained" d class who ether had experience(ex-military, communication technicians, scuba divers, etc) or those that have survived multiple scp. Some files are ment to be at different points of experimenting or different foundation procedures so mtf teams or combinations of scientists, mtf and d class going in. And some authors just like throwing d class at scp.
Sounds like the Minotaur in the labyrinth. Half man half bull, but maybe also part clockwork? All the metal makes me think the church of the broken god maybe involved. But the way the maze moves reminds me of the Hogwarts staircases. I wonder if the walls change depending on the time or depending on how many times the doors were opened and closed?
