I’m sorry but jyp is holding them back. I feel like they are being restricted by outdated concepts and have very little control over their performance. Jyp is a damn good producer, but he needs to let the boys take charge of concepts, dances and performance. I loved 2pm and only recently got into Got7 hard. And i see the same problem 2pm had in GOT7. The diff is that these boys are way more talented. They are competing against BTS and all of SM’s perfectly modeled idol groups. Hell no can Got7 win when they are still using lame old concepts. They are so charismatic and wild IRL and part of that reason i feel its cos of their super restrictive performances. Jyp really is biased towards girl groups. I feel sad for GOT7. The charm of BTS is not just their true hip hop and rap talent and feel. Its their swag and if you see all their performances, they are perfect and its a controlled chaos. Ad libbing perfectly, free movements in their dance but sharp and organized. Love them. SM is just following a perfect formula and making their idols perfect in everyway. Its creepy but they make beautiful songs and talented performers. Its not helpful or good to compare, but its sad to see these boys waste their potential. They are a multicultural And multinational group and they arent using it their strength. These concepts need to get updated with the times. Its either young and free to appeal to kids, or chic and sexy for the adults. They can do both, but with better dances pleaaaaae. Look at their MAMA 2019 performance and the dance for NBTM. I love them for their making it work, but damn they can surely do better. Especially the part with chairs in The MAMA performanc3. I know jackson and youngjae was sick but they would have used chairs either way. THAT IS BACKSTREET BOYS ERA. 20 years ago.

Ot7 _SoarHigh its nothing wrong. But as an audience I feel it could have been much better. Especially when the members are singing, to make the dance move less strenuous so they can ad lib more. They dont need to prove anything to haters but i feel they should get the chance to show some swag to haters that they can sing and don’t do any lip syncing

I’m sorry but jyp is holding them back. I feel like they are being restricted by outdated concepts and have very little control over their performance. Jyp is a damn good producer, but he needs to let the boys take charge of concepts, dances and performance. I loved 2pm and only recently got into Got7 hard. And i see the same problem 2pm had in GOT7. The diff is that these boys are way more talented. They are competing against BTS and all of SM’s perfectly modeled idol groups. Hell no can Got7 win when they are still using lame old concepts. They are so charismatic and wild IRL and part of that reason i feel its cos of their super restrictive performances. Jyp really is biased towards girl groups. I feel sad for GOT7. The charm of BTS is not just their true hip hop and rap talent and feel. Its their swag and if you see all their performances, they are perfect and its a controlled chaos. Ad libbing perfectly, free movements in their dance but sharp and organized. Love them. SM is just following a perfect formula and making their idols perfect in everyway. Its creepy but they make beautiful songs and talented performers. Its not helpful or good to compare, but its sad to see these boys waste their potential. They are a multicultural And multinational group and they arent using it their strength. These concepts need to get updated with the times. Its either young and free to appeal to kids, or chic and sexy for the adults. They can do both, but with better dances pleaaaaae. Look at their MAMA 2019 performance and the dance for NBTM. I love them for their making it work, but damn they can surely do better. Especially the part with chairs in The MAMA performanc3. I know jackson and youngjae was sick but they would have used chairs either way. THAT IS BACKSTREET BOYS ERA. 20 years ago.

I agree with your points but what's wrong with nbtm dance? Is the dance routine bad? But i think if we are talking about executing the dance moves then it is not bad since almost all the members of got7 are main dancers.
Ot7 _SoarHigh its nothing wrong. But as an audience I feel it could have been much better. Especially when the members are singing, to make the dance move less strenuous so they can ad lib more. They dont need to prove anything to haters but i feel they should get the chance to show some swag to haters that they can sing and don’t do any lip syncing

EDIT: For those who are replying to my comment saying that its in Korean and not in Japanese, i understand why you thought that cuz that's exactly what I thought but as a person who has studied Japanese for 2 years and has been kpop trash for over a year now i could definitely tell the difference between the two due to wordings. Also for those who still think its Korean please look up the lyrics or dig through the replies because their are a few people who have stated that 'yes its in Japanese' and i would like to thank those people.
