Fired up GTs - Stick baiting and popping!

I didn’t think id get the opportunity to catch monster GTs again - especially twice in one year! The fish were on fire, unfortunately i couldn’t land any or it wouldve been the most rewarding day of fishing!
Using Life Like Lures throughout the trip - we got all the action we needed. The fish cant leave those sweets alone!
It was such a special time. Certainly memories ill never forget with a close mate to experience it all with me again! What more could we ask for?

Cool Video💪can you give me any advice as to a cheap setup that will be able to catch GTs on poppers etc, it is only going to be used once or twice a year so don't want to break the bank😀

Hi Jared - pretty simple really you just need a decent reel (we used penn slammers) but any decent reel will work. Just need a strong drag. And a popping rod. We used assassin X3 heavy popping rods. This type of fishing the quality of ur tackle is unfortunately important.
