Hey, small tweak to the optimal way to sell items. You surplus your item, go to zero energy. Then small talk but DON'T SELL. Then small talk, don't sell. Small talk, don't sell. Only now go back and discount/sell to push up to the surcharge cost. Now surcharge but don't sell. Small talk but don't sell, etc. You shouldn't be small talk then discount then sell then swap to next customer. The reason is that each small talk is 10% missing energy, so you want to do all your small talks when your energy is the lowest. So you don't discount/sell until all your small talking is complete. You then use all the built-up energy to "push up" and reach towards the surcharge energy threshold.
Thank you soo much! Been trying to find out the best 3 to craft to do this exact thing but have something for everyone and couldn’t find anything anywhere!
There are better items for this tbh. Canopy Cap and Memento are a couple. Why you ask well if the Canopy Cap was worth 5 or 10 less gold it would be discounted for 10 instead of 15 energy and the same with Memento (15 instead of 20)
After ascensions: Canopy Cap needs 70 seconds, 2 leather (you have to find blueprint) / Memento 110 seconds 2 iron 6 leather. Shirt only needs 12 seconds and 1 leather / Leather Armor 12 seconds and 2 leather. Please watch the video till end before suggest anything dude.
Hello! I'm from France and I recently started to watch your videos and needless to say that they've been helping a lot! Thank you! Keep up with the good work!
this was a brilliant bit of info that instantly sped up my selling, I only wish I had available shards for the three prints. thank you! love your videos.
My problem is even with 4 chests I still dont have enough storage space to stock the shelves. I get half of it done and then I'm wondering what is taking up all the space and cant figure it out. I have maybe 50 green+ items I'm keeping to sell in the market when I can since they are worth more there and my highest quantity item at any point is 30 which is my fodder. Then everything stalls.
this method is way grindier than i like. its flexible for sure, but the money increase is very slow. i get too many customers i have to sell tier 1 items too for my liking. i think i prefer more bins and less energy, so i can craft higher tier stuff. keeps the game more interesting for me.
Hey Green!!! Remember me from the stream on Friday? We both hit 39 the same day, and we wanted to race to 40? I just wanted to drop this here that I just hit 40. Good luck on the caprice event!
I just got maple wood gale and the vanguard greaves in the same roll on kings caprice. I’m at tier 7. I am PRAYING that a new bis doesn’t come out for the boots. I know the bow isn’t top tier but I know it’s close.
Yeah, so hard to say with t11 only a month away! Since you’re only at t7 so far it might be worthwhile to just wait till you can craft the highest tiers are see what’s still bis
I do not know much english. But are these items helping for get energy? I don't understand much while watching because I don't know English very well..
I'm at level 37 using this method of yours, and I must say it's working fine. Despite that, I can't make the most of this strategy because I can't get enough components (from the missions) to keep this high crafting flow. I could be wrong, but I think this is alleviated as you produce higher tiers, as the amount of components doesn't change as the production time increases, so the craft flow decreases and you don't run out of components. And as the items are more expensive, this decrease in flow does not negatively influence your earnings. Anyway, what do you advise so that I can at least alleviate this problem of lack of components?
Good question, it’s tough when components tend to be expensive from market. I assume for many lower crafts that if you buy components from market you’re losing gold considering the value of the crafted items? It’s hard to say what the solution might be apart from making as much gold as possible from surcharging in shop and attempting to still craft profitably from components bought from market
I can produce items and keep resources low. But the crafting speed is so high I produce everything before my heroes bring in more mission components. So I don't use the resources for a while, not making money because of it. The only "solution" I found was just doing the missions, and accumulating as many components, according to the items I was making, and then crafting until the components ran out, and repeating the process. Do you think that in tiers 5/6, with 800 energy (level 40), it is possible to keep this craft flow without having to buy the components at market? Because I was making a good profit even buying tier 1 and sometimes tier 2 components, but it seems that tier 3 are quite expensive relative to items. It would only be worth buying the components at market if I sold the crafted items there at 5 times more expensive than at store, using surcharge.
I’ve found it basically impossible to get enough components from quests to keep with crafting if you play often. If I’m crafting, even with max quest slots and all the heroes, I have to buy hundreds of components everyday. Unless you fuse components (which is losing gold because moonstones are so expensive) the only option is to buy from market which obviously doesn’t make sense if you lose money crafting items. Tough call
hi rob, I've been running a closed shop for a while now. currently sitting at lvl50 and the displays that are closed off from customers are filled with t1 items. is this not a viable strat anymore or would you say the open strat with T1 discounts is preferred in your eyes?
It’s essentially the same thing. Same customer flow and same ability to suggest. Biggest difference would be that closed is more time consuming to be controlling which items customers can choose, but allows a lot more control over it too. Preference thing imo
It wouldn’t change customer flow either way, but these are the 3 items needed to be able to suggest an item to every single customer so it will increase efficiency of sales plus the % chance that every customer who comes in will choose an item. It’s also great because with ascends, each of the 3 only takes one resource to craft
@@RobMauds Gotcha. I've tested with full metal vs 3 variety.. I don't see much of a difference tbh. I guess that having the variety pack eliminates customers coming in and not wanting anything?
Yes, that and when you have customers request items that you don’t have the energy to surcharge, you have a t1 item to suggest to them 100% of the time so there’s wayyy more flexibility when it comes to sales and surcharging everything without wasting too much fodder
Hey man, from what I can see, this works best the higher your energy cap is, and in my case with around 562 energy cap, I don't see it being worth it(at the moment). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hey, in your newer videos I see you selling T9-10 items and those are the only items you have on racks (most of which are empty), no low-tier items whatsoever. Why is that?
It’s just a change in play style for Ironman. Since I don’t have market and my main goal is xp for level 70, I’m just selling all my items normally or even discounting so I can craft constantly. I will use t1 fodder still when I’m low on items but lately, especially on stream, I have tones to sell through so I just don’t have much fodder out. If I was playing a normal account I would have a lot more energy and be using fodder a lot more
During the event it will be on and off, just gotta wait until the caprice item is on the item that needs alloy loop as the precraft and they will sell for max gold guaranteed
OMG, such an old video, you're a noob here... IRL you're so far ahead of me. Do you still reccomend tier 1 fodder for more advanced players? They give so much less energy, I don't really get it.
This doesn't really work now. There are a LOT of customers that don't want any of those items. It works PRETTY good, but not as fool proof as this video states. Thanks though!

I mostly did this, but you gave me a clearer picture on how to perfect it and I am very thankful for that.

Are there any headwear like stitched cone or leather cap to replace the shirt or leather armor to take advantage of the entire mannequin?

Yeah, it definitely works best with high energy. It goes hand in hand with the few bins-high energy method
Small talk is 10% missing energy. The more you have the more small talk gives.
